Italian Industrial Floor Care Company called Eureka

No surgery, just a needle in the spine. I chose to go with mild sedation. When the docs ask if I am allergic to anything I always say yes, I'm allergic to pain : /

Brand new Bissell DigiPro power head for sale!

In the late 1980s Panasonic offered what they called a "Dual Sweep" power nozzle with their premium canister models MC9537 and MC9540. The Dual Sweep power nozzles had a neck with just a wee bit of fore and aft play, and a microswitch in the neck that told a circuit board which direction you...

Italian Industrial Floor Care Company called Eureka

I was laying in a surgery center a year ago being prepped for a cortisone injection in my spine to try to relieve some back pain. They were playing some radio station or maybe it was Sirius and there was this long informercial for Shark. The breathless announcer was talking about Shark...

Brand new Bissell DigiPro power head for sale!

That Samsung nozzle is nothing special but at least it is easy to use and doesn't weigh a lot. If anything it could benefit for some strategically placed weight on the nose. The F-Q CA-93 power nozzle is unbelievably heavy and hard to push yet the agitation is not that good.

Brand new Bissell DigiPro power head for sale!

I have never seen an L shaped power nozzle from Samsung. They had the PH90 which was closely based on the old GE power nozzle later used by Filter Queen and later they started selling this one you see. Because parts for the Samsung power nozzles are long out of production and Samsung vacuums...

Brand New Miele sale, several models

I haven't had good results from them in terms of their ability to dig out pet hair. Lindhaus, Sebo, Kenmore, Aerus/Electrolux, Riccar, CMB Edgelift all do better on our rugs. Factor in $95 OEM plastic replacement brush rolls for the SEB 236 and the fact that these $95 brush rolls are plastic...

Italian Industrial Floor Care Company called Eureka

Sales numbers mainly but every model, every feature were competitive. Hoover was usually a bit ahead though. It was one of those epic industrial competitions. And Kenmore and Electrolux were always right there nipping at their heels for sales though both had some technical advances over...

    Musty Electrolux Ultralux Classic

No. Not apple cider vinegar. You need to use white vinegar. Believe me. I have de-stunk ( is that a word, lol ) a lot of vacuums. White vinegar, alcohol, some Zep's orange degreaser from Home Depot, a wee bit of dish detergent and the hottest water you can stand. Sometimes just leaving...

So while looking up what a Nilfisk Sprint looks like I discovered this advertisement. Looks like Nilfisk was selling the Samsung Quiet Storm with Nilfisk branding. The red machine on the left is a Quiet Storm.

Btw, while the Lighthouse Vacuum Motors website is chaotic ( ! ) if you poke around you will find a lot of gems for very reasonable prices and some good information too.

Electrolux Epic 6500 SR Motor Replacement

This is a webpage from the website for Lighthouse Vacuum motors. They are a distributor in a small town in northern Arizona that sells pretty much the full line of Electromotor products. If you scroll all the way down on this page you see the far left column has a lot of images of vacuum...

Electrolux Epic 6500 SR Motor Replacement

Dude, Electromotor makes a lot of different motors. Many of their motors are indeed made in China or have Chinese assemblies. Their two stage motor for uprights is made in China. This motor is a legacy Electrolux design that is entirely US made.

Electrolux Epic 6500 SR Motor Replacement

There is a mistake on their website. If you look on the listing there is a blue font, underscored link to a "Product Bulletin". Click on that. Don't click on the link above it. All that does is display an image of the motor. The lower link will load an excel spread sheet with the...

I like the Bissell Digipro. I have two really nice examples ( one for show and one for go ) along with it's gorgeous metallic blue Samsung Digimax twin, but I am weird for Samsung vacuums in general. Superior Vacuums of Calgary and Hibbert International also in Calgary sell a good quality...
