    Original bare-bones burgandy colored windtunnel...

Just like ours, but the three tools were on the back, and the hose was a simple extremely short blow molded non stretch. The switch was also on the top of the bag compartment corner.

Dirt Devil Extra HP - January 1995

Good lord Kyle! That thing is beautiful! It looks exactly like my Classic, minus the signature red color. I really wish I didn't sell it foolishly for $15 at one of our garage sales 4 years ago. I will never forget that, my first real vacuum, huge sentimental value. Have yet to find another one.

    Original bare-bones burgandy colored windtunnel...

This particular model stated on the front panel: Windtunnel by Hoover. It had nothing else on it, just a headlight and a switch not on the handle, but at the base of the handle where it joined the machine. It was black, a simple two position rocker switch.

    Original bare-bones burgandy colored windtunnel...

Does anyone have one of these? This is the vacuum that was in my house until probably age 10 then we got a Dyson DC17. It is similar to the Tempo widepath in design, minus the widepath feature. No full bag indicator, s/p, etc. If anyone has one, pictures would be sweet! Thanks in advance. ~Darren

What vacuums do U regret getting rid of?

My Dirt Devil Classic upright. One of the made in U.S.A early 1990's models. Inherited it from grandma, was my first vacuum, and foolishly sold it in one of our rumage sales at the age of 11 or so. My mom said I should and said I could get a better upright for the basement. Three years later...

    Dirt Devil on eBay...

I wonder... If this was even $35 new?

    Quite An Amazing Curb Find!

One of the good Tempo's... Nice find! The new Tempo's are a step way back, TTI took off the full bag indicator, the headlight, and cheapened it up enough so they could make it a widepath. There is one thing I am unsure of though, while none of the Tempo's advertise having Windtunnel technology...

I Finally Got My Hoover Windtunnel V2!

My grandma also had a V2. It was burgandy though and was extremely hard for her to push on high pile carpet. She traded it in for a Sentria, and here I am now wishing I would have talked to her about selling it to me before the Kirby salesman took it!

    best hoover vac ever made.

Personally, I would say the Convertible series. But that's kinda biased seeeing how I love the old metal Convertibles ;) .

    vacuum abuse.

The Kirby one definitely shows how durable they are, but it really pissed me off. It has been my lifelong dream to have a Kirby. But because my parents don't let me get vacuums, it has been hard. To see a guy that makes many YouTube videos solely focused on destroying vacuums is terrible. To...

    My Windsors I Recently Aquired!!

Our steamvac dual v bottom cord clip broke off and despite a year of searching for another way to wrap the cord, there isn't !!! I can't find a new clip either. I hate you tti!

    My Windsors I Recently Aquired!!

I HATE OUR DYSON DC17! No matter what way you wrap the cord, its always too short to clip! It is so irritating. If James was so obsessed with design perfection, he would at least make cord storage convenient one would think? :P to Dyson.

Hoover Steamvac or Bissell Big Green

SHUT UP! Okay. This is a wonderful community. However, different people have different opinions and all this person asked for was advice and opinions. We don't need to trash on other people just to make ourselves feel better. Different people like different brands and that's that. This is...

    Hoover Turbopower 2200

Nice Hoover. Is that a D2A I see in the background??? Or just a D2?

Hoover Steamvac or Bissell Big Green

The Dual V is a great machine. My mom has one with auto rinse, and all terrain floor cleaning solution and squeegee attachment. All in all it works wonderful, a bit loud but about the same as any other steam vac as stated before. We have had it for about 3 years now. No problems thus far.

Bissell 3in1 Stick Vacuum! Never seen another one!

I also had the attachment kit. I really wish I could find another one. When the handle was folded down on mine into carry mode it would almost always fly up and hit me, not the greatest of all features, Bissell :P .

Bissell 3in1 Stick Vacuum! Never seen another one!

I was looking through the collections and was on page 18 or 19 of hoovercelebrity's when I found laying on the floor the exact same Bissell that my great grandmother had! I have never seen another one since mine bit the dust and was thrown out. Does anyone have any information on the rarity of...
