    Sanitaire Canister

That is quite an amazing canister! I love the power nozzle even more! If I had the money to put down on a Riccar Premium Radiance, I would buy one in a heartbeat. I'll keep my eyes peeled on eBay for something used I suppose.

    Sanitaire Canister

Sorry about the late reply... I do appreciate all the help. If it is as noisy as you say, another 12 amp screamer, I couldn't bare it. I saw some Carpet Pro uprights that aren't very common, though I think are made by Tacony in the U.S.? I really like the attractive pricing. I watched a...

    Sanitaire Canister

Hello all, I was just wondering if anybody could tell me if the Sanitaire canisters that are like Eureka Mighty Mites are made in the U.S.A? If not, what would be a good U.S.A made vacuum be for under $150?

    Electrolux Epic 3500SR

I also just realized it will slide under my bed neatly for storage. Mom can't complain about that one!

    Electrolux Epic 3500SR

Thanks for the help. I will have to get a surplus of bags as we have dogs and I imagine they fill rather quickly.

    Electrolux Epic 3500SR

What are the differences between this machine and the new Guardian Upright? Other than HEPA. More powerful motor? Better suction and or airflow? I want a Lux upright, but not one from the discovery series and I don't want one of the ugly interim Aerus 4000 or 6000 on board tool uprights. Also...

Shark has a new Vacuum line

This actually might cause me to reconsider getting a Bissell as a daily beater. I like the design of this machine a lot better than previous models, they were downright awful looking. There is a guy that swears by them somewhere on here. Maybe he'll chime in. I like how they made the dirt path...

    Electrolux Discovery III Brushroll Motor

Alright thanks for the advice. My only issue is the expense of a new motor. Oh well, I'll have to hunt one down on eBay. Thank you though.

    Electrolux Discovery III Brushroll Motor

Hey guys I have a rather large problem. My grandma's Electrolux Discovery III power nozzle isn't running very well. We put in the new double helix Aerus brush roll per our vacuum shops suggestion about a year ago. It has been cleaning a lot better but now the motor is beginning to slow. It will...

Kenmore Progressive Direct Drive & Eureka Bravo II

That Dirt Devil Classic next to it was my first real upright. What I wouldn't give to have that back. A great machine.

    Bissell Rewind Power Helix

Aha! The plus has a 15" cleaning path vs 13.5".

    Bissell Rewind Power Helix

Base model, seems to have same exact features. The plus would go better with a spot lifter power brush I also plan on buying. We have a little green with the turbo brush, it works worse than scrubbing with the standard upholstery nozzle. The power brush should be better than our original battery...

    Bissell Rewind Power Helix

Rewind Power Helix Plux Here it is, suprisingly in stock. I think it may be being phased out. Same price as base, and I think I like the contrast and highlights of the colors better on the plus...

    Bissell Rewind Power Helix

I like the smart vac and tempo better because there bagged and really a lot better built. However, as I'm sure we all know, every once in a while you get the urge to buy a total pile of garbage vacuum just because its cool. I think that's what this is. Plus it's bag less and even if the filters...

    Bissell Rewind Power Helix

Well guys, for those of you who knew my previous plan of buying a brand new Hoover platinum lightweight bagged upright, its been scrapped. I realized how much money I have in my bank, and that must be put towards a car, as my dad thinks I should buy one on my own. So, I decided a cheap Bissell...

    What should I get?

I think im going to hunt for a good deal on a new platinum upright on eBay, and buy the corded windtunnel stick as a companion as well as the portable canister for above floor cleaning.

    What should I get?

What about the corded windtunnel stick?

    What should I get?

I like bagged machines except for in vacuums like the kind where they would be too small and impractical. I don't want a Dyson, except for the DC41, which is far too expensive and not very many can be had for a low price used on eBay yet. I just don't like bagless machines very much.

    What should I get?

I'd much rather have the lightweight bagged than the cyclonic upright in the platinum collection because the bagged machine just looks better.
