What Do People Think Of The Dyson DC15 Animal?

Thanks I think the bit i'm most looking forward to is the Ball. I have used Ball machines before, but never a DC15. It's been seller refurbished apparently, but I will give it a once over when I get it. He's selling either an Al Floors or an Animal, so I went for the Animal.  It was only...

    DYSON FLAME THROWER

This is supposed to be a vacuum cleaner collectors forum, for the order of preservation. It's not for showing vacuum cleaners being destroyed. Again, fire is not really the best thing to suck up your vacuum cleaner. Waste of time.

    Electrolux Dolphin

Hello! It was sold in around 1989-1992 by Electrolux, I believe the Z2210 may have been the slightly more bottom of the line model, with the Z2230 above it, and the Z2260 above that. Made in Britain. I used to own the Z2230, which was a great vacuum. My nan also used to own one as well.  ...

Cheers I've tried the Asda website but it keeps relocating me to the George website, so I will have to pop in at some point. Thanks for the head's up.

Dyson vacuum cleaner ice bucket challenge

I think it's a waste of time. Even though it's a Dyson, some people should just grow up.

must see this about dyson IT IS NOT GOOD

So hang on It cost £24 to make a DC04, and then he sells it for £240ish, 10x its price to make? Surely with that profit he could have kept work in the UK. That's greedy.

must see this about dyson IT IS NOT GOOD

What I don't understand is... I don't understand why there's no news footage of the closure of the Cambuslang Hoover factory, which closed in 2005, which had been open for 30 odd years. I'm sure there was a mention on the news somewhere, but that was a big blow to the Scottish labourforce.  ...

must see this about dyson IT IS NOT GOOD

Actually If you bothered to check up on dates it's from 2002, when production was shifted to Malaysia, not 1997.

    I'm on the radio again

Well I would like to see £1million in front of me but that's very unlikely to happen. "I am not disposed to let opinion be passed along as fact" Well does that imply that we forum members should just ignore your opinions? Oh and regards to cylinder heads, we were talking about ones that are...

Yes I'm sure I read some comment somewhere on selling them second hand, which you can still do, though why you'd want to buy one second hand anyway?

    I'm on the radio again

Beckham Cheers for posting on that thread, trying to help teach the masses. Before I left school for the summer I had to explain to one of my teachers about the new EU legeslations, she thought that bigger wattages are better, as does pretty much everyone else. Beckham's Response: They are...

Goblin I've always wondered how good the floor tools on these Aztec machines are as I have always thought they looked rather weird. Are there any other useless floor heads?

True I see where your coming from now. Good vacuum, just shame about the tools being rubbish?

Rio What size fitting did they take as I'm sure you could just swap them if they were a pain.

    I'm on the radio again

Rio By Goblin Rio are you referring to the blue and grey one or the red and beige model? I once had a beige and red 800 model which was great for a budget cleaner. I do find Henry's unwieldy to store, as with most tub style vacuums, and most cylinders for that matter.

    I'm on the radio again

Re Regarding uprights, most modern cheap ones are bad, but how do you make a BAD cylinder? They are such an easy thing to make right but companies just churn out junk all the time! Look how basic the Henry is, the design is so simple and has been around for decades, but why do some other...
