    Vax Zen Pet

I find the floor nozzle cleans well & is easy to use across the floor. Vax don't really promote this cleaner anymore. I think it has been overshadowed by the Air Cylinder.

    Vax Zen Pet

This is Vax's TOL Cylinder, the Zen. Vax's quietest, most powerful multi-cyclonic cylinder. I payed £111.29 on an Argos deal 2 weeks ago & have used it nearly everyday since. It's quiet, powerful, & comes with a full size turbo brush compared to Hoover machines where you have to buy it...

    The Pure Power of Hoover?

Nice too see some Bagged machines being reviewed. I would have always thought Hoover would just reduce the motor power in the Purepower, & not o anything else.

    Russell Hobbs

Russell Hobbs are nasty machines with whiny motors, they cost around £40-£50 usually but I have seen some sell for near the £90 region & that is expensive for what it is. Quite a lot of cheapo vacs are like this, but as the old saying goes 'You get what you pay for'. I wouldn't get one, & it...

    Quitest Cyclonic Vacuum Cleaners...

Have you used the full sized Turbo Nozzle Steve? I found the noise to be quite a low pitch instead of the usual high scream you get.

    Quitest Cyclonic Vacuum Cleaners...

I have a Zen too & it is quiet, even with the turbo brush attached.

    Quitest Cyclonic Vacuum Cleaners...

The only ones I can think of are the Bosch Power Silence (Filter in bin) & the Vax Mach Zen (Multi-Cyclonic). Can you name anymore?

There were loads of DC04's & 07's can't remember. No DC14's at all, strangely. Check my profile pic :D

Oh I forgot to add, I went to Argos straight after the Car Boot & bought a cleaner from there :)

I bought a Vax Air Reach for £7, but you would have loved it at mine Tayyab - hundreds of Dyson DC04s & 07s!!!

What Vacuum Cleaners (in your opinion) would Soap Characters have?

Might have yes. I remember a DC01 being used at one point.

'New' Hoover Eco-G Range at Argos...

Just had a reply from Hoover UK over Facebook, the Noise Level for the Eco-G Integrated Bagged Cylinder (Telios Plus) is 77 decibels making it as noisy as the regular 2200w version on sale for £50 cheaper. I find that misleading considering Hoover say that the Eco-G has quiet technology.

Argos Getting Ready for New EU Regulations

The local stores staff are nice. I think it's just the area in the other town.

    Russell Hobbs

Wouldn't recommend Russell Hobbs, my nan had a kettle from them, middle range, cost £30 & it nearly exploded with water inside!

Argos Getting Ready for New EU Regulations

I hope Argos dosen't become online only, I love going into the store & checking stock then waiting for collection. My local store had a refit a few years ago, it was a completely different place by the time it was finished, lot more modern. Lovely & helpful staff, in mine anyway. However, the...

Argos Getting Ready for New EU Regulations

Hopefully my local stores safe then, car park right next to it & the towns main supply of electrical, furniture & toys etc. unless you go online.

Argos Getting Ready for New EU Regulations

I just hope Argos don't shut any of their stores.

Argos Getting Ready for New EU Regulations

I just find it the most convenient place to buy electrical from. Argos isn't what it was no, it will be a shame to see the catalogues go, but keep hold of yours, they might possibly become a future collectible. Argos in my town has outlasted Currys & Littlewoods/Index, plus Wilko & B&M Bargains...
