Right we have gathered it is an april fools joke.

    Need some help.

Well I am sorry mate that no one has bothered to reply to your thread so I'll do my best. I had a powerglide a few months ago. Agitation was incredible and it seemed pretty durable, although there were some flaws. The swivel steering is very limited, but of course better than no steering at...

Shark Rotator Powered Lift Away Stop Sale/Recall

I would say you are both wrong. The reason German and British vacuums cost a lot in the US is mainly due to the taxes on imported goods, and larger taxes on German products which date back to the great depression where huge taxes were imposed on German beer when alcohol was banned. SEBO and...

Shark Rotator Powered Lift Away Stop Sale/Recall

I find it amazing that many German or British manufacturers such as Sebo and Numatic can build top high quality products for the same price Vax or Candy Hoover are charging for cheap throw away tat. A Henry vacuum is around £100 in the UK, made from quality materials such as ABS and stainless...

Compact Bagless Vax canister vac: which one?

jagodek02 Well I'll be the first to say welcome to VL as I can see you are a new member. Don't think we have many from Poland so that is nice to see. I understand in Poland they have different models. Some of the UK models are not available over there, but you seem to have done well there. Vax...

Shark Rotator Powered Lift Away Stop Sale/Recall

Buy German, or British, or American built where possible. This doesn't happen, and you will be helping a more local economy.

Vorwerk KOBOLD VK150 - My new toy!

sptyks, There are many other vacuums which are that sort of price which people do pay big money for, and just because it looks like a felix, doesn't mean it is similar or just a pretty looking version. It has a large brushless motor which is rare amongst vacuums, a special brushroll design...

Vorwerk KOBOLD VK150 - My new toy!

No. In Europe, and the UK at least, that is 7 Sebo's. Not everyone lives in the states :) Beautiful vacuum cleaner, the more I look at it. It has a brushless motor, only a couple of vacuum have them, to my knowledge only Dyson although doesn't some of the rainbows have them, or am I imagining it?

Vorwerk KOBOLD VK150 - My new toy!

Very nice looking vacuum, and still quite sebo esk looking somehow, especially with the dog leg floor head. The rhymes. I do love SEBO's, and the felix is my favourite vacuum. Just does everything so well. I do like your white tiles!

    New Dyson Cordless line-up UK

The DC35 was only advertised really for quick clean ups. Depending on who you ask, the dc59 is also for quick going overs. The difference between the dc35 and dc59 is quite great, in terms of performance on carpets especially, as it has a completely redesigned head and brushbar. What I find so...

Why does my new Sebo G1 make me depressed?

I don't even know, I wouldn't be depressed with a G1. Sebos are fine vacuums, which ever one you have.

Dyson DC55 Total Clean - Review and impressions

@sprockkets ; I thought that sounded odd when sptyks said that. So called "windtunnel technology" (I think the word technology is over used in the vacuum industry) is more of a marketing gimmick than actually useful. I have had a couple of Vax's with it an notice no difference whatso ever I...

Dyson DC55 Total Clean - Review and impressions

Right, fail to see how I am intimidating. Was merely pointing out a few things and giving my opinion.

Dyson DC55 Total Clean - Review and impressions

The suction seal on dysons works on hard flooring, and on carpets it means all the suction is concentrated where it should be, and by the way, these new ones have a slider which raises a rubber seal, which breaks the seal of suction allowing it to pick up large debris, and helps on hard...

    New improved battery

Very good news. At least some companies are trying to innovate, move forward and improve!

Dyson DC55 Total Clean - Review and impressions

The Dyson and Sebo vacuums deep clean perfectly fine. I really don't see why you should spend thousands of pounds more on a Kirby which will "deep clean even better". I was content when I properly deep cleaned my carpets with my Bissell big green shampooer and found no grit or extra debris...

Dyson DC55 Total Clean - Review and impressions

So sptyks. When did you use a DC55, or DC41mk2, or Dyson cinetic ? You are a Kirby fanboy, not a vacuum enthusiast. I however have used a Kirby, used a Sentria 2 as my in laws have one and while it is beautifully built and performance is excellent, I would not have one. Too bulky, too heavy...

Dyson DC55 Total Clean - Review and impressions

It is the combination of the agitation and the suction seal which is why this dyson has earned its reputation of the best performing dyson ever. Even on plush carpets, tilt it back and it will grab the carpet and lift it up quite a way, something by felix does not do. What I find annoying...

    I love the SEBO X1

Sebo's are basically perfect. They have excellent performance, are very versatile, and everything is just done properly. They are really very good value for what they are - German designed and manufactured durable vacuum cleaners that are quite inexpensive to run. The bags are among the cheapest...
