    Airmaster Home Cleaner Brochure

Shipping Weight... Almost all couriers now have 1 pound as their minimum weight. A lot of sellers (myself included) just round off something under 1 pound, to 1 pound. Makes freight calculations easier! About the only way to ship anything anymore and save money under 1 pound is by using First...

Calling All Metal Royal Upright Enthusiasts

Forgot to mention... Maybe I'm in the minority here (since mine's not a common model) but my Royal doesn't seem to really be any louder than either of my Kirbys. It is an older model from before Royal sold to TTI in 2003, so perhaps its and older design before China got a hold of it? Who knows....

Calling All Metal Royal Upright Enthusiasts

Quick Pickup? I doubt they'll all outclean a Kirby, but I have several videos on my Youtube that proves that the one I have certainly will. Mine only has a 6 amp motor in it which is the same as most Kirbys from the 70's onward. I was quite shocked because I'll admit, I'm a Kirby fanboy. I bid...

    Not your Grandma's 28....anymore...

Primer? Do you need to primer it with anything or use any special paint on it? I'm thinking of a Red/Black color scheme. Make it look like some sort of throwback or something. Could be fun. I'll have to do some drawing and pick a color scheme that looks good.

    Not your Grandma's 28....anymore...

So here's a question: Is Bakelite even paintable? If it is, I'll do a fun color scheme, if it isn't I'll leave it alone and repaint the base the kind of tannish-brown it was originally, even though mine doesn't have the original paintjob!

Calling All Metal Royal Upright Enthusiasts

Looks Kinda Like Mine... I have a Royal 6103F metal upright. Mine only has the 6 amp motor in it, but even with that it'll outclean a Kirby. Believe me.....I was shocked when I found that out too!! Mine's loud, but not THAT loud.....perhaps your brushroll is worn? The brushroll has 3 different...

Theres a Bissell Big Ultra Green machine problem is it isnt BIG

Actually that is the Big That is the big. The Little Green Machine was flippin microscopic! In it's heyday, the Big Green wasn't a bad machine....probably one of the better ones......then along came the Hoover SteamVac and it was history!

    Not your Grandma's 28....anymore...

Hmm..... Interesting that your 28 has a metal hood....mine's plastic! Feels kind of like bakelite or phenolic since it's heavy and seems to chip easily. The area right above the light has a couple of chips in it sadly (although I do have the light lens). Mine has also been repainted at some...

    Not your Grandma's 28....anymore...

Oh Beautiful!!!!! I was thinking of doing something like this with my 28 since the base is pretty scratched up. The hood looks decent, but the body is all scratched. I think I may just do this! Looks really futuristic! Thanks for sharing!

    Proper Hose for Electrolux AE?

Thanks for the comments! I completely took this machine apart. The fans were horribly clogged with lint and other awful unknown debris which I cleaned out. The bearings had grease that was more akin to glue, so the bearings were cleaned out and repacked. The brushes on the motor were worn down...

    Proper Hose for Electrolux AE?

I figured they were probably replacements. The cord is genuine electrolux though.....even has the brand molded into the plug ends. I don't really care one way or another.....the color matches the hose at least!

    My Birthday Present to Myself...

With birthdays usually comes money. Since my B-Day was on Friday, I got a little bit of money and decided to go into San Antonio to do some shopping. Before I left a friend suggested checking out Craigslist. I did and found a Decade 80 that someone was asking $10 for. Long story short, I called...

    Proper Hose for Electrolux AE?

Forgot to mention: There's a video that goes with the pictures.

    Proper Hose for Electrolux AE?

Photos The hose came in today (aftermarket hose sadly.....not the original hose) so I took some pictures of my AE. It's certainly not "Museum quality" but it looks good anyway. Here's a question for Charles since he seems to know more about these than I do......Why would mine have a white cord...

WOW! A KIRBY MODEL 2C ON EBAY!!

I saw that one a couple days ago.....a LOT further gone than anything I'd want to work on. The motor sounding weak is enough to make me wary of it. Granted it's probably brushes, I still wouldn't want to have to put THAT much time into a machine! If I had more time to put into it, I'd love to...

    Such a deal...

Just curious here... Don't take it the wrong way or think I'm starting a flame war or something... I'm just curious.....why is everyone so thrilled over the Sentria? With the G series, not much changed from the G3-Diamond, and the Sentria is basically the last G with a rounded body and LED...

Hoover UK's advertising dept. are Jamiroquai fans!

OOOO! I love Jamiroquai!! I like the music video better than the Hoover ad though....the ad seems kind of......well........lame in comparison!

Not another one...Found a Panasonic Purple MV

Here's another question.. Does it only do it in one outlet in your house or does it do it in whatever outlet it is plugged into? If it only does it in one plug, it could be due to a weak clamp in that outlet.
