    The New Dyson Ball

i have not used a new ball, but the other ones if used i was not impressed in the least, they are awkward to use, it must be tilted pretty far back to use it, and they have uneven passes, it agitates better going foward than backward??? suction is poor at nossle. also ive seen at least three of...

Any Pictures of Rebuilt (Color-Keyed) Kirbys from 1962-1981?

to pr 21 $350! all she needs is buffing and a piece of trim. i guess it wouldnt be a bad deal if someone shot it with a 12 guage shotgun then ran it over with a elephant :)

Please recommend me a vacuum for cockroaches

i think a direct air machine will kill anything once its in the bag, lots of negitive pressure, i used a simplicity canister to get rid of a infestation of pherroh ants (what a pain that was) never had one come back out of the bag, same thing with spiders and other ants. what i would do is suck...

Your one favorite Kirby OF ALL TIME

after owning a G3 for a period of time i would say that is my favorite G series, the Omega is my favorite vintage series and i do enjoy my 505 but i avoid using it on a daily basis due to it's age, OE fan and impossible to find switch. in my opinion, i think the G3 has the best propelled feel...

    maneuvering Kirbys

my kirby G3 clamps down on the carpet as hard as my omega with the drive off. however in one room they are both easy to push. kirbys have increadible suction for some reason, and angle of the nossle makes the clamping effect worse. also handle size and position makes for poor leverage...

    Eureka 1934

about that weight thing. it also appears that way to me, an idea is theheavier the machine the flatter it stays to the carpet, i think that is the key to kirby, that and with the tech drive it further keeps it flat as the vacuum is pushing itself not you pushing on the handle. i feel the same...

Do the 9 amp Royals perform better?

mine is 8.7 amp??? i also put a wide-path nossle on that one- still to much suction. 9 amp royals are LOOOOUD!!!

Quite Possibly The Happiest Day Of My Life!

to vacuum freak i hope im not falling inta a joke. (which im sure i am) kirbys are big, hulking machines, using one always feels like your pushing around something more than a vacuum. by far my most favorite brand. to the orignal poster, i just fixed one like that, i also like its looks and...

    Rinsing a Dyson Shroud

we warn people about them, we only have two lightly used models. some people will not listen and insist on dyson, that is why we must have one or two on the floor, most end up in boxes or in the trash though. you can do so much better than a dyson for the money, if they where priced like they...

    Kirby 505

well like said, i really dont need another vacuum to replace this one. ... it would really have to be cool (to me) and usable. [email protected] anyone know estimated value? ive seen them sell for $300 but they where buffed, and had attachments along with the OE bag. i know mine is not...

    Kirby 505

i hate to ask like this, what could i get for a good running 505 with non OE bag/handle, mild but uniform oxidation and missing headlight trim. is there any interest here? i really like it but i really have no practical use for it, works great, but not like the omega royal and sanitiare i have...
