    Neat little thrift-store Sanyo

It is a cute little ergonomically inspired vacuum. That purple adds an interesting affect. I remember when Sears sold their version and thinking how different it was compared to the square bodied vacuums they had been selling for many years before. I wonder if a paper bag of some rubber...

    Hepa bags. A gimmick?

I agree with you. I can't believe anybody would want to put a mucky cloth vacuum bag in their washer with all that ..... on it. It's not like washing clothing or bedding that has more oils and small bit of muck. A vac bag is literally covered in muck. I doubt it all rinses away...

    Telephones

I like that yellow wall phone. Can't think of how many times they used that in Alfred Hitchcock presents episodes or other 60s era dramas. Here's a nicely waxed and polished wall phone, also with modular connections and it has the push button upgrade.

    Torn on new power nozzle

yes "...vacuum her house every day" If she literally does, that is a bit excessive for ANY vacuum. I'm only guessing but I would think vacs used in hotels probably don't have more than a couple of years before they are replaced or need service. I doubt Wessel-werks intends their power...

Central Vacuum Recommendation For Small Space

Vacumaid Garage Vac Pro Is a good vacuum BUT It does not have an electronic control module if you should want to have remote control via an electric hose. All it has is a simple on/off switch. Great Motor though. I know, I have one. I already have a separate motor control module so at...

    Questions on cleaning tile/non-carpeted flooring.....

How the "mighty have fallen" It seems like a couple of years ago those were so reliable. Times change. And Bissell with things like the Cross-wave is a real innovator.

    Rug Doctor mighty pro 3

If it is the insert fitting, it's easy to change and not expensive.   Finding out exactly where the water is coming from is key.     If it's coming from between the fittings than the problem is with them.   If the water is coming from near the clamp or the hose than the fittings are...

vacuumdevil Is it hitting too close to home for you?    Making you nervous?   Why should you be uncomfortable unless it applies somehow?     Your general sweeping dismissive comments are laughable in addition to being rude.

"So lets have some respect for minors here and not make them feel UN-welcome? Gatekeepers like you are partially the reason why Vacuumland isn't as active as it was before." You're NOT getting any free pass. Special consideration: <span style="text-decoration: underline;">most...

    Parents new Rainbow

"Is it safe to put attachments in the dishwasher." It usually is BUT it's best if you can turn off the heater. It may be necessary to unplug one of the wires to the heating element when washing these plastic parts. Some types of plastic don't do well with the high heat and will discolor and...

    Rug Doctor mighty pro 3

Can you disconnect the hose from the brass piece? Then take a picture of the pieces apart? If it only leaks when it's connected to the floor tool and not the hand tool that perhaps there is a damaged or missing "O" ring.

Compuvac You're 16 if your profile is correct and you're worried about the way Robert runs his Website? He's been successfully running his website for longer than you've even been alive. Yeah, he knows some things. And you won't be the first overly anxious 16 y.o. who's full of himself...

Guys (and gals) I'm very anti-racism in any way. And I'm not afraid to admit to it or expose those hiding in the shadows or using forums such as these for illegal purposes. Like many, I'm still disgusted and distraught with the activities of Jan 6th and all the freaks that were involved in...

    Panasonic vacuum looking to buy

Have you checked Ebay? That would seem like the easiest source. I hope you find what you need. We've all been in that spot looking for a certain machine. https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-Panasonic-Jet-Flo-Vacuum-MC-771/383716582063?hash=item59574a62af:g:c88AAOSwqqNfXA6C

If it's a small constant leak it may need to simply be changed. If this is the part, it's practically a common hardware item. It may also simply be a rubber "O" ring that needs replacement. Do you have a photo of the part that's leaking?[this post was last edited: 3/7/2021-00:09]...

What do you mean you feel you don't belong? Aren't you a vacuum collector? Is it the hitler-youth thing? Is it a gay thing? A hetero thing? Vacland certainly doesn't have the same feel as AW. It's practically dead here. Very little discussion about anything other than some types of...

#18 "sell the information on a DVD set or something?" DVD set? What is this 2006? As long as we do the DVD, lets not forget VHS. We want to saturate the market but good. Maybe we should consider 16 milometer too? I'm sure your intentions are good but Robert has probably already thought...

I didn't know there were so many defunct websites. Did you know that Google plus was a "social network" site? WAS. IMO, Google and all it encompasses IS a social network without even trying. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google%2B

Robert's Livingroom Thank-you to Robert. I've been a member of Robert's groups on and off over the years since late 2002. Back then it was only AW.org and later he created Vacland. It's Robert's playroom and we are lucky to be able to be here due to his creation. I've seen people come in...
