Just checked for excessive vibration
Super-sweeper, I looked into the possibility excessive vibration, here is wha I did and observed:
I ran the machine a few times and checked for any excess vibration, there is no excess vibration, all vibration is normal. I did a run with no belt, I can feel...
Way to think outside the box!
You've really sparked an idea there super-sweeper! kudos to you for that! excess vibration, I've never really thought about that one! I'll have to look into that one, from what I can remember, the vibration seems really normal to me. I don't really know what could...
Hey, I have 2 problems with my 1980's Hoover Custom Convertible model U4395. the first issue is that now the end cap (it's the thing that fits into the slots of the brush roll area) that goes on the right side of the brush roll seems to not want to stay on. this has been happening since earlier...
Rick Dale and his crew
Rick Dale and his crew on American restoration really impress me. they've restored and converted a vintage fridge into Sammy Hagar's rumerator. they've restored a vintage rocket slide, a vintage car, a vintage railroad motor car, a vintage ride-on mini train (not the kind...
in terms of vacs to bring, i'll bring my hoover custom convertible as I think it will really look nice and many people would admire it's beauty. I'll also bing my Kirby sentria as I really think it would be one of the coolest Kirby's at the convention. I may bring my dyson dc07 animal as now it...
rarest vacuum
m rarest vacuum would be my hoover model u4395. I say that it is rare because I only know of 12 existing u4395's: there are 2 people on youtube that own a u4395, there are 2 old ebay listings for a hoover u4395 (not the same person selling it), 1 active ebay listing, some guy on...
I have pictures of the Kmart hoovers, and I own one of those machines. here you go. Hoover model u4393, the Kmart bottom of the line 4.8 amp hoover convertible. I don't own this machine, I found the image on google images.
It's been a while since I posted on here. I know I forgot to post a picture of my hoover when I got back from Wisconsin, but here is the picture of my oldest vacuum, the hoover custom convertible model u4395.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEAUTIFUL KIRBY'S! I'm thinking of buying an early Kirby model c off of Ebay, though I'm wondering, will a 505 brushroll and belt work in a Kirby early c? if anybody could tell me that would be great!

My oldest machine...
...is my 1985 Hoover Custom Convertible model U4395. I love the sound, performance, and looks of my U4395. I don't have time to post a picture as I am going to be going away for a few days, but I'll post a picture of my Hoover when I get home.

if you think rainbows and kirby's are expensive...
then you should know that go vacuum sells a gold plated vacuum (link at the bottom of this post) and it is worth $1,000,000, but they reduced the price to $999,999 instead of $1,000,000. the price of this machine almost makes Kirbys and...
Congrats on your rare find Chad. It looks very similar to a royal 501. Kirbyvacuum, I'm pretty sure that it wasn't made by royal, but I can see why you think so.

Forget the Miele, kenmore, and sebo d4, if you want long cord length, buy a commercial vacuum or get a kirby (if you don't want to pay $2000 for it, get a used kirby) and replace the 25 ft cord with a genuine kirby 50ft power cord.
