    Simplicity Synergy X9 or G9?

The Simplicity Synchrony, Synergy, and 7 series all have metal base plates standard, and the Vibrance doesn't require a switch to be turned for attachment use. From what I have read on this site, Miele parts are very expensive and take a long time to ship. Besides, Miele S7 bags are about $19...

    Modernizing a mystery Kirby

I'm pretty sure that a Heritage or Legend mini emtor and bag will work on any kirby made before 1990. The Kirby looks like a Dual Sanitronic 50.

    Simplicity Synergy X9 or G9?

Riccar has a comparison between all the tandem air vacuum,s on their website which might help. I think the premium also has a longer hose.

    Simplicity Vacs any good?

I have the Riccar version of the Simplicity 7 series (model 8900) and it's one of the better vacuums in my collection. The only problem I have with my vacuum is that there is no hose, but the Synergy/Radiance and TOL 7 series/8900 should have one.

Getting Scratches out of Metal Parts

I'll try the sisal wheel and emery compound method. I was actually planning on ordering some more bench grinder polishing supplies. Is there anything else that I should use for polishing?

    Today's mostly vintage vac haul...

Does your Jet-Flow have the hose coming out of the bottom right side of the vacuum and going into the middle? I've never seen a jet flow in real like, so I'm very curious about it.

Getting Scratches out of Metal Parts

Here is the nozzle I'm polishing. I've manly been working on the edges with a bench grinder.

    Attachment cheapening

I love the hose on my Constellation 858. It's the perfect weight for a stretch hose.

Getting Scratches out of Metal Parts

Since I recently got a bench grinder, I've been polishing various vacuum parts as practice before I move on to actual vacuums. Unfortunately, the scratches are becoming more noticeable as the parts start to look nicer. What would be the best way to get the scratches out of the metal?
