Does Rainbow E2 Black really need a hepa filter?

It’s my understanding. That HEPA filters were added to get more certifications for Rexair AS purifiers AND to get around the ( justly so)criticisms about not capturing ALL materials( older ones couldn’t capture no water soluble substances ( ash, drywall dust, talcum power etc). I’ve never...

    Airway Sanitation system

so, I just acquired one of these old little appreciated machines ( compared to many other classic brands/models) and am quite hoping that I can actually use it on my hard-floors. Kirby Factory Rebuild

dandagreer I think your approach of just using spare parts on the machine you'll send it vs the original is genius !!!! I REALLY want to see and hear your take on their end result that you'll receive. I've heard vastly different tales of the 'quality' of the restoration work. Widely different...

safety switch bypass that person who owned it might have requested the switch bypassed, I did that on one of my Traditions , intentionally.not worried one iota of 'extra wear' on the brushes....i'm a collector....and it'll never be used as a daily anyway.

    Make the hose longer

Decided to make my own extended length hose for the stairs and car cleaning. I didn’t want it bad enough to buy it from Kirby for $70ish, so my kirby technician friend orders raw tubing (40-50 feet) and we made three of them out of it. Just forcibly I unscrewed the ends from donor hoses , heated...

    old hoover questions

I bought and put together, after some help from someone here, made my Hoover model 61 work nicely . Then the cord took a dive into 'aged oblivion'.....I haven't been able to find a replacement yet, but have some ideas for a newer replacement. My question now is, I saw a Hoover 28 for...
