It was Mr. Doug Gerber. He did many jobs at Hoover, when it was still The Hoover Company. He worked hard to keep the lobbyists O out of Tti's possession, and, thought it was secure. He, along with others, hit the roof upon the news. Never again. We'll, we live, and, we learn.

It's amazing, the prices they ask, sometimes., when you realize, everything was donated. Im sure, with some care, that cleaner would still render great service... like it was built to do.

    Vintage Vacuum in the Smithsonian

I meant Murray spangler. As a child, I remember "Grace Spangler" visiting my grandmother. She was also her maid on honor. I learned, later, that she was her cousin. The Spanglers started out in Pittsburgh, pa. They relocated to Ohio. But, that's a nice model O.

But,it was sold back to them... the very thing the Hoover Company...

I missed some responses, sorry. Well, there are plastic totes, filled with every kind of paper bags. Attachments, manuals, ads, spare parts, oh my! I'll definitely post some " evolution pics". I also plan, when done, to display, say, 1 model 69, whiles the other 6 or 7 are stored in boxes...

I helped Joe kassock with his annual garage sale. I brought the red Kirby tradition. All gone. All that's left in my house, now, is an Electrolux anniversary polisher/shampooed, a box of Kirby tools, and, an ancient Westinghouse upright. Going, going, gone.
