    If You have a hot tub and you have muscle aches(i do) there not bad on maintenance as long as you keep up with them. The stand alone tubs have their place. Being a plumber the only way to move them consists of the use of a sledge hammer. The newer tubs are alot easier to move.

    Blue sparks Is usually a color of electrical issues. I've had 2 ds80s burn up because of faulty coils and it was blue. Idk it could be commutator going bad but my money if it's not comutator or brushes it's faulty coil not producing enough current and u tested the comutator with voltage...

    No The 7 amp armature 10 amp coil would work. If you had a 7 amp coil and a 10 amp armature you'd have problems.

    The Pleated filter helps keep dirt out of the motor. The only time you won't use filter or bag is wet pickup. Yes your using it right.

    I Have the oreck, craftsman and another douglas vacuum the Aardvac. I also have the busy bee. The oreck has the most power at 3.5 amps. I'm not sure in the ardvac as I have not opened the box yet.

    Ok If you use a bag from 519 or older kirby. You unlatch the top of the bag and it would slide over the heritage setup. I didn't see you didn't want to use a heritage bag. You could get a seamstress to install a zipper on the shakeout bag.
