A "Thread" which only the SUPERSWEEP could possible love!!!

Well Alan, I was trying to smoke that ever allusive SuperSweep out, but since he's a tumbleweed, it might not be safe...like he would burst into flames and all -- kinda like the Scarecrow from the " Wizard of Oz, " fire and kindling just don't quite mix if you please! Why, a SuperSweep sighting...

A "Thread" which only the SUPERSWEEP could possible love!!!

Whenever you go to a antique auto show, it's hard not to hear the theme song from " 2001 a Space Odyssey " bouncing around betwixt your ears. It's like you reached the last valley, but found a shiny hill instead...Oh the glory!!!  I added a couple more photos that I somehow sinfully forgot!

A "Thread" which only the SUPERSWEEP could possible love!!!

...And I see why, too! Desoto's...Desoto's...And yes, even more Desoto's!!! And just a wee, small bit of other flavors to wet your palate , of course! A regular cornucopia of steel and chrome...Bon appetite and enjoy Detroit's bounty!    [this post was last edited: 5/7/2016-23:29]

Late 40s General Electric radio & record player combo.

Thanks Alan, here's a cleaner shot of that little critter.  And by a strange quirk, the second photo is of my youngin holding a mockingbird, which fell fast asleep whilst it was taking a sand bath...not a day latter. All he did was just simply reached down and picked him up. Good thing he wasn't...

Dyson airblade is basically a virus catapult

Well, with that monster locked up in the restroom with you, it just might be time to run a catheter to a waste bottle taped around your ankle, so as you can steer clear of that mess altogether!

Late 40s General Electric radio & record player combo.

This is a late 40s  General Electric 78 RPM record player and radio. It played the FM band 1, which no longer is used. It also plays the FM band 2, which is still in use to this day. It has your standard am band and short wave 1 and 2. The 78 RPM record changer has the early magnetic cartridge...

    SECRET FOOD GIFTS

I don't reckon I'd be all that concerned about a bomb and all, but ground up glass, arsenic or some other viscid material I'd be more inclined to be fretful over than just about practically anything else. Some of that gasoline just might've made its way into the preparation of their world famous...

    Any Pontiac Grand Prix owners?

Thanks David, I think so two! For her to be so wore out, she sure drove well on the way home. Not so much as a puff of smoke. I think just maybe that's why Chevy stopped making the 265, on account, they wouldn't break...And her powerglide shifted smooth too for being only a two speed.

    Any Pontiac Grand Prix owners?

s31463221, I thought you would like them. ...And on a side note, I got the Chevy home about two weeks ago, on account, my mechanic turned out to be a flake. Always giving me one accuse after another about why he hasn't got any of the mechanical repairs done. So when he was gone on another one...

    Kirby Ezee Vacuum

Well, that's great that you don't want the Ezee. All that means is there's going to be less competition for me and James. So I'll just write you off the Ezee list for good.

    Kirby Ezee Vacuum

One of the rare ones!? It is just only perhaps the rarest one of all time and the most highly sought after!!! Why, just about everyone sets around and dreams about that one.  If it is true, you just acquired the " Holy Grail " of vacuum cleaners! If all you had in your museum/collection was that...

    Toast in a Waffle Iron?!

That looks really tasty! I just might try some of your gluten loafs and wash it down with a carbonated soda to neutralize my stomach acid...so as it can plop down into my large intestine and rot . That way I can keep the gluten from damaging my villi in my small intestine -- hopefully!
