    Electrolux Ultralux Classic 1521

Gordon, just so you are aware, only the Sidekick, bare floor tool & one set of those wands actually went with that machine. The rest are for a much older Lux model & I don't know what the plastic attachments go to. They even have the wrong bag in the machine & extra bags are wrong style. Those go...

    Electrolux Ultralux Classic 1521

Hey Gordon, does this machine still have the woven hose? If so that is more than likely where the loss of suction is. The interior rubber disentegrates over time & breaks down, thus losing alot of the suction thru cracks & splits. A new replacement vinyl hose would be ideal for it. I have...

    Rare Vintage Power Nozzles

Dave, this is a great idea for a thread! Anxious to see what others are posted. Brian I believe one of the members has one of the Kenmore canisters with the Power-Mate that is a stand alone vac. Seems like it is Alex Braun if I recall correctly.

    Gotta Love the Hoover W2

Scott, I had one of these recently too. It was a free leftover from a garage sale. Anyway I thought I would have some fun with it. Long story short, it is as you say overly complicated to disassemble to get to the filter. The cost of a new filter was also not something I wanted to invest in. As...

Hose Quiz again - help ID

Gary, I would guess that it goes to a Miele. Although I don't know much about specific models etc... It "speaks" Miele to me.

    Are they nuts??

Yes!! Yes they are nuts! And that is one ugly-ass Bojacked Kirby if I ever saw one. Almost makes you feel sorry for them that they know so little about it to price it like that, thinking it will actually sell LOL.

    Toy vacuums

Mattel Tuff Stuff Vacuum Brian, thanks for sharing the photo of your Tuff Stuff vacuum box. I forgot all about those! I had one of those as well in the very early 80's as a small child.I think I used mine until it fell apart. My mom still has another push toy I used as a "vacuum" when very...

    Kenmore Magicord Rell Canister

Steve, Sorry to make you choke! It was a bargain! I couldn't not take it for that price & the condition. I had to rescue it & give it a good home. Thanks for the compliments. :)It was grungy from sitting for quite sometime, but it shines up great. Whoever owned it before took good care of it &...

    Aerus Lux Classic

Jimmy, I agree about the weight of this vac, so easy to carry & maneuver. This is my first Lux with a vinyl hose & it's soo user friendly! I didn't get any attachments with it sadly. I am on the lookout though. Would this have had grey plastic wands, dusting brush & crevice tool??

    Aerus Guardian Platinum

So I got to try out the new Aerus Guardian Platinum today at the Kansas City Aerus dealers booth at the Kansas State Fair. Supposedly the unit I tried is a prototype they were demonstrating. It was awesome to see it in person. Very quiet! Especially on low w/ the variable speed control. They...
