I've got a question. Would the grease you speak of work on regular vacuum cleaner motor bearings or just power nozzle motor bearings?

I bought one from Kmart whenever they first came out and it worked great until the fan exploded.....I do remember hating that awful filter!!!

Thanks for the replies. I've ordered my parts from O'reilly's auto parts. I replaced the drivers side regulator a few days ago and then the passenger side went out two days later. Again I ordered a new regulator and it will be here Monday for me to install. Sure hope I don't have anymore...

I own a 2003 Buick Lesabre with 72,000 original miles and I'm going to be replacing the second failed window regulator. Has anyone on here ever owned or had this problem with their Lesbre ranging from 2000 to 2005? It seems to be a VERY common problem for the window regulators to fail in these...

I've seen one of these before with the same bag so I think its original.

I used my air compressor to blow out the cyclones in my DC07 and it worked great! Also replaced the Post motor filter or HEPA filter under the bin. It works like new again!

A new brush roll for my Elite from Hoover's website. I sure hope its OEM and not CWP or something like that....I did order it off the parts list for their commercial line of Elites so hopefully that helps. I know they aren't making the Elites anymore, but maybe they are still making...

Wow! Sounds like you did get a lemon. I haven't had mine long, but have had no problems at all with it. The clip that holds the dusting brush in is broken but that's how it was when I bought it from the seller. I guess only time will tell how long it lasts! Also BELEIVE me I do know dyson's...

Final pic. Here's a list of everything I had to do. Replaced bag, belt and headlight bulb as well as deep cleaning of the whole machine! Also had to oil the brush roll bearing to even get it to spin... Hope you guys enjoyed seeing my little project this afternoon!
