Yes! I own two Dyson's myself. The DC07 and DC40 To me they are both great cleaning hard floors but American homes usually have thick pile carpeting and LOTS of it. The Dyson's seem to be lacking on cleaning carpet very well. That's just my opinion of course. To each their own.
