Finally got a power head for my Eureka

"--three hours away--" Elizabethton is an easy and scenic drive through Boone or Asheville.I am having less time for vacs but anyone showing up in person gets my full attention and many great vacs and parts for what seems to be less time, trouble and money than with todays EBay and shippers...

Singer I have brought it down from the storage platform and will check it later today. My book store is busier in spring with very little time for vacs or anything else. I am very willing to sell it and almost everything else when I know the condition.

Model L These are great vacs and the 2nd standard model after the Mo R to have a Power Nozzle outlet. Original colors would be white, tan, blue and gold. As above after that they could be rebuilt in current colors with a metal tag riveted on the side. When you remove the back you will not see...

    1970s Errands—including an aqua Electrolux Model G

Mercury Deluxe wagon! Deluxe vacuum! Ford/Mercury wagons at this time could have side facing rear seats and probably 2way tail gate. A collector here who is a skilled body man put a 2way tail gate from a mid size Ford wagon on a Ranchero of about 1970.

    Does these tabs slide out?

Hoover Sometimes lubricant and patience are what's needed. If someone could post pictures of similar Hoover brush removal you could see entire mechanism. I may be near one of mine later today.

    Does these tabs slide out?

"tabs"-- --should lift up. You probably have years of dirt and grit as well as possible moisture and slight rust on them. You might try WD 40 or similar, let sit and pry up gently with flat screwdriver. Good luck and you may soon see that to beat, sweep and clean with a Hoover was one best things...
