    Best Bagless Vacuum

The FQ has 10x more power than F5 tornados, like I tell my customers when they need a new vac.

Shetland Lewyt - A Forgotten Brand?

What yr was the beige Lewyt tools made? I had a crevice tool & a dust brush (but hated the bristles since they're too stiff)

    TriStar vac/shampooer

I have a red 2-speed Tristar with all tools + a shampoo tank & a tube that goes from tank into Power Nozzle. Does anyone know how long these Tristar vacs were made? Its supposed to shampoo carpets like a Bissell Big Green Powerbrush or Kenmore Cleanmore w/Spraymate.

Filter Queen the BEST bagless vac--NO dust flying around + NO cyclones to clean out + better-than-HEPA/ULPA filtration + powerful suction = beats the competitors!

    first home extractor

Maybe Hoover created the 1st upright extractor? Hoover came out with the Floor Washer, then the Floor-A-Matic (FAM) & finally the Steam Vac

    FQ mdl 31

YUK! Just pulled out the bating filter & it looks like PUKE! I bet the previous owner used the vac w/o the Cellupure & disc filters or used generic ones for a time! The batting filter had pet hair coating the inside of the foam filter. If your FQ's batting filter looks dirty, CHANGE IT...

    Hoover Suction Polisher

I think Furrow Lumber Store sold the suction polishers in the USA but maybe True Value had them too?

    FQ mdl 31

Turbo brush test on FQ The turbo brush spins at supersonic speeds when I used it with the FQ; it really puts other vacs to shame. Its a huge diference now that I put new filters on my 31 & K31X (daily driver) U can also notice increased suction when using only the Cellupure (white) cone...

    Hoover Suction Polisher

My dad used a suction polisher when he worked at a lumber yard & when sanding floors, so I'm guessing Hoover DID have suction polishers here in the US too.

    Carpet extractors

The XXX extractor I had had a Mongomery Ward logo instead of a XXX logo; XXX made them for MW? Looks like a Shop Vac (has 5 gal recovery tank; requires faucet hookup)

Rinse-N-Vac patent Not sure if its a parts list for Rinse-N-Vac or Thermax rental machines? How good are the XXX machines? The XXX's are hard-to-find here, are they sold online only or rental units? http://www.delphion.com/cgi-bin/viewpat.cmd/USD0281919__?MODE=fstv&OUT_FORMAT=pdf

    Rug Doctor shampooer/polisher

Does anyone have info about these shampooer/polishers? I haven't seen these in ages ever since Vacuumland (my vac shop) closed; Vacuumland used to offer these as rental shampooers before I changed these for Electrolux shampooers...

    Vibra Vac carpet cleaner

Red vs. Blue The RED RD's are RENTAL units only; & the BLUE RD's are CONSUMER-OWNED & PROFESSIONAL USE units. However, I see many RED Rug Doctor machines on eBay; that's a violation of Rug Doctor's & eBay's policies, who knows if they're stolen units? I even had someone come 2 my door selling a...

    Vibra Vac carpet cleaner

Canister style Rug Doctor I haven't seen these machines anywhere along the RGV (Rio Grande Valley) area in TX yet. But the Vibra Vac sure give more oomph than the dept. store steam vacs!
