    FQ Majestic 360

I saw a demo of a Filter Queen Majestic 360 (80th Anniv model) & the latch broke from hose handle. Has anyone had this problem with the 360 hose, wand & tools? Its a shocker that Health Mor cheapened the 360. They should go back to the old style tools. http://www.filterqueen.com

    New Hoover Platinum Bagless

TTI should let Hoover go so Hoover can make their vacs in the US instead of China

    Roto-Power Brush

That's life these days with cell phones & PDAs of today. I currently run my own vac shop (thru eBay only) but plan to open a walk-in store later.

    New Hoover Platinum Bagless

Poor Quality I've never seen the Platinum collection in any of my stores yet; but I wouldn't pay $300+ for cheaply built Chinese s**t. I'd be MUCH BETTER off buying an ANTIQUE vac instead of the new ones. Even a FQ Majestic LE (which I bought new in 1999, Pow-R-Nozzle on the FQ LE kept falling...

    Best turbo brush

Inside view look @ the 2 air channels inside nozzle--1 in front & the 2nd in rear (by turbine) & that makes better suction than other turbo nozzles & less dirt scattered.

    Best turbo brush

Hoover WindTunnel (except the WT2 style) It REALLY eats dirt & pet hair like CRAZY!

    Roto-Power Brush

Has anyone seen the Hoover Roto-Power brush? I've looked everywhere & can't find 1; not even eBay. How good did the Roto-Power do comp. w/WindTunnel turbo brush? I'd like 2 have 1 4 my 1970s Quik Broom.

    Shop vacs w/detach. blowers

Which of these 'convertible' shop vacs (those that convert 2 hand-held leaf blowers) is better: 1. Ridgid WD1670 (lifetime warranty) Cannot use bags 2. Craftsman #17066 (1-3 yr warranty) Can use bags Why do they have the EXACT same design? WHAT A RIPOFF! Ridgid should use their OWN design &...

    The Kirby Challenge...

If a Kirby had metal brush roll & beater bars it'd outclean a Sanitaire or Hoover Convertible. But a TriStar/Compact w/PN & VG roller OUTCLEANS ANYTHING! I've been using my 1985 Tristar w/VG2 & it outclened the Lux & FQ; it was fun when I had carpet but my 'new' house is all tile & vacing throw...

    Rug Doctor

I don't know if the Thermax 3-stage machine can use Power Brush since I always like how the PB scrubs the floor/carpet (better vibration than RD)

    Hoover Convertible 69

nice cool vintage Hoovers; that's why I don't care about the newer ones (Concept 2, Elite, WindTunnel) All I need is some DAMs, FAMs (1960s-70s) shag carpets & Jetsons-style furniture 2 make my home 'shag-a-delic!'

    Last weekends find...

Nice Kirby. That Kirby (or any old Kirbys) will beat the new Sentria any day. I put the Classic, DS80 & G3 2 the test w/the new Sentria & Sentria didn't do as good as my G3; the Classic & DS80 (my DS80 missing tools) outcleaned the G3. I'm keeping my eye on a 500 Series Kirby like Andy's got...

    Best shampooer

My collections not as big as my childhood vac collection; that time I had a barn full of vacs, but now I have only a small amt of vacs due 2 lack of space. The rest of the vacs are at my parents' house (I hope they don't get rid of them b/c most r from b4 the 1970s) Only post-2000 vacs are my...
