Why I haven’t been posting lately

I'd like to see your other projects too!  Anything vintage that uses electricity is of interest to me, but I do have a particular soft spot for the TVs and radios, although I could not even begin to repair one...

    "Holiday" bake off!

Can't wait to see the pictures!!  I'm on a diet, but as they say I can look but not touch...

Put your car keys beside your bed at night.

I agree Hans! As a friend of mine from South Africa says, you shoot to kill.

Put your car keys beside your bed at night.

Wouldn't work for me as both my cars are classic so don't have alarms!! It is a good idea though. Thankfully I live in a very low crime area but you can never be too careful.

    Introducing Falyn!

She's a beautiful cat! I recently acquired three kittens and they are a handful, but definitely worth it.

I agree that it would be very good if we were able to change our passwords!

I guess it was about time to replace the air purifier filter...

Wow, it's quite frightening to think that all that could end up in your lungs if it weren't for the purifier!!  Maybe that's why I'm always coughing...

    Fido Can Read Your Mind

<a name="start_34205.370741"></a>"She can be moody and she can be loving. It depends on the day."   Yep, that's a cat alright...  Buttons is exactly the same, you will either get an affectionate purring response, or clawed to death!!

    Fido Can Read Your Mind

You are absolutely right Edgar, cats are very intuitive and can pick up on many things that we humans cannot. They can also sense the paranormal, if you believe in that sort of thing. Caligula was a handsome cat, how old did he live to if you don't mind me asking?

    Rebuilding component stereo system

Looks good! I've got a turntable exactly like that, but I don't think it is branded Technics... I'll have to look it out one of these days and get it working, whatever it is.

    DAME PATRICIA ROUTLEDGE

My heart stopped for a second when I saw that title, thinking you were about to say she had died!!    She really is one of the best British actresses though, certainly deserving of her new title.    One of my favourite "made for TV" movies is "Anybody's Nightmare".
