    It's so hideous...

I would take it just because it is different.

    Canister. vs. Canister

My vote is Electrolux. Both my AE and Olympia I have great suction.

    Kirby Vacuette

Vacuette vs. Royal Hand Held There are plenty of Royal hand held vacs on eBay. I like the older ones that are metal like the Kirby. If I get one it will be mainly for stairs and furniture. How good are the Royal hand held vacs?

I got another Power Tank :D

I have a Royal Power Tank, great vacuum. I can't use the power nozzle, there is a short in the hose. There was a spot that had a hose clamp wrapped with black electrical tape. It worked fine until I removed the tape and clamp. Mine doesn't have the controls on the handle.

I've been told that the Zip Brush is great for stairs. I had one until my puppy decided it was a chew toy.

    Kirby Vacuette

How good are these little hand held Kirby's? I'm thinking about getting one to use on the carpeted stairs.

For once, something on eBay that is worth it..

The Legend II is a GREAT machine. I bought my refurbished 5 or 6 years ago for $99.00 plus tax, and have never had a single problem with it, best vacuum I have ever owned.

    Legend II photo shoot

I love my LII, best upright vac I've ever owned! Yours is a lot more shiny than mine, LOL and I have a black cord instead of a burgundy cord.

    Kirby Legend II BPI

I should have taken your advice Matthew, it was the belt. The new belt would fit inside the old belt with about a 1/8" between the two. I didn't think I had vacuumed enough in two months to need a new belt. Thank you too Bill, it was great talking to you.

    Kirby Legend II BPI

Replaced it about a month or two ago.

    Kirby Legend II BPI

When I push my Kirby LII forward the BPI goes off, but when I pull back it comes back on again. Is this normal or do I have it to low on the carpet?

    Post War Kirby Sentria

My Kirby LII doesn't even look that bad, and she gets used practically every day, and at the end of the week I give her a quick cleaning and check the brush roll, belt and bag. A "true" Kirby would never let this happen.

    oh no, a burst bag!

I had a bag bust in my Eureka self propelled upright once, and it was a genuine Eureka bag. The hose on my Kirby LII came out of the bag once and I didn't know until I unzipped the bag. I've been using generic bag on my Electrolux canisters and have never had one break yet (knocking on wood).

    Kirby Legend and Hertiage

I thought they would be the same, but I thought I would ask anyway. I don't know a whole lot about Kirbys but the one thing I do know, is that I like them A LOT, LOL.

    Kirby Legend and Hertiage

I just noticed for the first time, that the ID plate on my Legend says Heritage, but the bag says Legend II, are the Legend II and Heritage II the same vac?

    I want another Kirby

Fred, I LOVE the color of the 1st one on the left, that is absolutely beautiful! I'm going to get a Dual Sanitronic 80 from Mike. I know they are going to multiply, I started off with one Electrolux and now I have three, LOL. Is the G Series the most current models? I was at the Kirby dealer...
