Yeah Electrolux would say the motor went bad from not using "their" bags. The off brand 4 ply Electrolux bags are just as good as the genuine bags. Regardless of what Electrolux says. They just want you to buy from them not anyone else! :-)

Hoover Concept I personally don't own one of these vacuums, but when I used my friend Stephen's Concept I was very impressed at how well it cleaned and how quiet it was. It was also very easy to push accross the carpet. That is very important feature for me!

I kind of like your halo style better than the cord winder. As usual, I think the cord winder makes the vacuum look like it has a heavy "butt" or as I like to say "junk in the trunk!" lol

Disposable Bags Crevicetool: Yes on the very back of the manual there is a small advertisement for the "Automatic Self-Sealing Disposable Bags." It says you can purchase them from your "friendly Electrolux salesman". Get this....you could get 18 bags for $3.45!! Man how times have changed...
