I like those Royals. I used one recently at a local vac shop and was impressed with it's performance.

They may be gold, I may just be color blind! Or possibly, the gold lettering on mine is faded.

All of mine have silver lettering (1205, Super J, Olympia). I don't think I've ever seen one with gold.

Power Nozzles... No they are not all that deluxe. The lower end Celebrities of this model came with an "L" shaped power nozzle with no headlight.

I got the power nozzle in the matching green with it, but it's kinda nasty looking so I was embarassed to picture it. LOL. I will photo it once it's cleaned up. I'm not sure when I'll have time to do that though.

Also... While I was there, I spotted a Lux Model AF. When I asked them about it they said the motor was fried because an old lady sucked up water with it. Well they gave it to me and when I got it home and put a cord on it...it purrs like a kitten. There is nothing wrong with it. The bag cage...

This Celebrity came into a local vacuum shop as a repair and the customer never came to pick it up. So, after 45 days the vacuum shop called me and said I could either take it or they were going to trash it. So of course I went and picked it up... It runs good but has some wicked bearing noise...

One more thing... Rick, how do you keep that pick up truck so clean? And I thought I had high standards! :-)
