    Hoover Dustette Model 100

Hi. I believe this was to match the Hoover Junior 1224 and the Senior 638. They restyled the former model 119 in 1955 bringing out the cream and blue colour scheme. The 1224 was also avalible in other colour schemes as well.

    GE cleaner is HOW MUCH!!!!!!

There are so many things not right with this cleaner including the price!! I agree no more than $50 should be paid. A mustard color model went last week or so for over £300 but that was in pristine condition and like new. Those examples deserve to go for good money as they are clearly...

1920's models, if you had to choose

It works fantastic!!!! It is all original except for the plug and shines like new. In my opinion I can't see why it would not be a great daily driver to assist in your everyday cleaning. It will surely outlast any plastic garbage made today. I hope to one day find the original plug. Even...

1920's models, if you had to choose

I love my Hoover 700!!!! As for a straight suction cleaner I would prefer the Eureka Grand Prize. It works well and looks so beautiful. I really hope I can get one someday.

    NIB Eureka Empress Canister Vac!

I sure hope another collector got this great find!!! I don't think I would want a new old vac as god forbid it gets dusty or scratched. I have restored my hoover 700 but I still take it for a spin now and then as it is not NIB quality. Not so afraid to use it for the purpose intended.

HELP MY HOOVER DELUXE MOTOR WRITTEN OFF

HI Mark, I would hold on to it for sure. These have appeared on ebay often enough and not in as great condition as yours. Wait till another comes up and buy it for spares. Just get assurance that it works before buying it.

Vintage hoover abuse in my home!! read on lol

Hi Mark, I would tell them point blank to please refrain from doing that or leave. I know friends are great to have but they can be replaced easily while your old vacs can't be. I am sure they would not want you hanging your coat on an expensive lamp when you visit them at their house. So to...

When did serious vac collecting start??

I am not sure if this question has been asked on here or not but I came up with this thought. It might get everyone thinking, it might not. Seeing a photo of Jeff's collection of hoovers from the 541 through to the 825 made me think that if there were serious vac collectors even way back then...
