Dyson to move HQ from UK to Singapore

Dyson can't take a lot of fine dust at one go. It will clog up the cyclones. My DC40 cyclone pack got blocked after the flour pick up and it was pain to get clean. Even in the normal use you have to be very careful what you pick up. I hate the idea when you have to guess how dirty those cyclones...

Working water lift vacuum test gauge explained.

With the canister vacuums strong suction is needed to maintain the airflow through the hose. Direct motor (dirty air) vacuums don't need a lot of suction if (when) the piping is extremely simple and in the most cases large diameter. One thing what I find very frustrating is using the low airflow...

    Who has a daily driver?

We don't have Sebo vacuums in the Finland except the Sebo Automatic XP20 and it is totally intended for the commercial use like few other bagged uprights. We don't have Sebo vacuums in the Finland except the Sebo Automatic XP20 and it is totally intended for the commercial use like few other...

    Who has a daily driver?

n0oxy My C3 was originally straight suction model. I have done all the connections by myself. Wand to Sebo ph adapter is from the eBay. It has been working very well year now. I have done the same thing at least to ten canisters now. This Sebo ph fit to all of my canister vacuums.

    Who has a daily driver?

vacuumdevil It might be :) I just love the Sebo ET-1 powerhead. I also have the Miele SEB 216-3 and Wessel Werk EBK 340, but ET-1 is my favorite.

    Who has a daily driver?

I rotate my vacuums a lot, but what I use the most is my Miele C3 with the Sebo ET-1 powerhead. Quiet, powerful and very convenient because I also have hard floors.

2003 Miele Solaris S514 Airflow Losses

rivstg1 My C3 is the European model with motor rated at 1600 watts. However in reality it uses 1415 watts. So it wouldn't be too much for the US. Also note that the hose is upgraded to 8 ft. Original hose was 6 ft and it got 121 cfm from the hose end and 95 cfm from the nozzle. 6 ft hose was in...

Hoover Air Revolve Canister Vacuum - $34.99...

I would like to hear how this Hoover/Vax Air Revolve has performed in the weekly use. Is the filtration really so bad what some videos have shown? I mean does the pre motor filter get so quickly dirty? I am asking because I am trying to find one for myself. Thanks :)

Hoover Air Revolve Canister Vacuum - $34.99...

Very cool vacuum and cheap. True collectors item. I would like one. It's not perfect. Looks like it can only handle very light use....

Tested Shark loss of performance when filter is dirty

I did this test because we vacuum collector people know how fast Shark pre motor filter gets dirty. Now the question is how fast it's going to lose performance (airflow). I tested it: First measuring the airflow with clean filter. Then sucking up 4 bin full of dust. Measuring the airflow with...

Newest Shark Apex ZeroM power head Vacuum can it Cent. Vac?

You mean Philips right? :) It works well, but you have to be very careful when dealing with the mains power. In these Shark powerheads there is a three wires. Center wire is for the lights, right and left are the main power. Center wire connects to the other main wire. NOTE that it is only one...

My two new Sebo machines - Evolution 350 & Airbelt E1 Komfort

I would also much prefer the Evolution 350 instead of the Automatic X7. Manual height adjustment is important for me. I have noticed that vacuums with the manual height adjustment are much better for different pile carpets. I mean very different pile like low, medium and shag pile like I have...

Performance differences between Sebo D4 and Felix? (vs old Oreck)

I have noticed that the suction helps to maintain the airflow when hose is connected to the vacuum. longer hose and more suction is needed. That's why direct air vacuums don't work well with the hose, but performance directly from the cleaner head is good. I will try to get the working water...

Performance differences between Sebo D4 and Felix? (vs old Oreck)

Proof: Why Airflow is important This video shows very clearly how much airflow matters. In this video I tested the 1600w Miele C3 with 120 cfm from the hose end and Dyson DC40 mkII with 66 cfm from the hose end. Suction in these is quite near each other. Difference in the pick up is huge. I...

Shocked! The Dyson V10 Beat the Sebo Felix 1 with Embedded Sand on Carpet

Sebo Felix and the Dyson V10 are totally different. Felix is originally meant just for the commercial use, but they brought it to the normal consumers with a success. It's very solid made vacuum designed to work long days day after day unlike the V10. V10 is just a stick vacuum and how long the...

My canister vacuum cleaners airflow performance

Kirby EU label Kirby still sells vacuums in the Europe. It wouldn't meet the standard EU-rules for the normal household vacuums. However EU says: ""Compulsory labelling does not apply to wet vacuum cleaners, combined wet and dry vacuum cleaners, battery-powered vacuum cleaners, industrial...
