    Hotel vacuums.

Oreck, Sanitaire, and Windsor are mostly what I have seen. One hotel where we held an event from work, the banquet room had a frankinkirby, I felt sorry for the poor thing, it started out as an Omega, with an aftermarket plaid blue bag, but not Tradition blue; which had worn a hole through and...

    NIB Eureka Mighty Mite One

I am not convienced it's NIB On the third picture the filter as well as the bag chamber appears to have dust on them. First picture, I thought I saw some paint scuffs, but it could be a light reflection.

This is Why Kirby Says to Empty the Bag Out After Each Use

This is something that happens with fan first machines. The hair may be longer and it just gets trapped between the blades of the fan. Not so much a defect, as just a need for regular maintenance. If you know you are vacuuming lots of hair, you may have to do it more frequently. As others...

Want opinions on Filter Queens olz

Grab it The parts are worth more than that even if it didn't work. The hose alone will fetch $90 on ebay. I have three FQ now, I like them. For that price buy it, if you don't like it, flip it. There are three or four filters, the cone, a biocone, a motor filter, and the silencing ring...

Very nice collection. However, I have bad news. With this addiction, your collection is never complete. There is always going to be one more you just have to have.

Does anyone have a diy recipie for kirby shampoo?

You don't want to use a Laundry product on a carpet, unless you will be doing a rinse. The residue will cause resoiling very quickly. Kirby's suds, though does leave a residue, is encapsulating and traps the dirt so it can be vacuumed. The dry laundry product will become a binding agent to...

What is the worst vacuum from the past 20-ish years?

I bought my brother and sister in law a Powercast as a housewarming gift when they bought their house. They absolutely hate it. In fourteen years, I would be safe to say it still has the original bag in it. I thought it was pretty cool. They don't.

I think I’m sticking to bagged

Bagless Kirby Kirby were traditionally "bagless" or actually a shake out bag for many years. If you are referring to the bagless conversion, I beg you with all that is holy, please do not resurrect the Keeler thread.

    I Finally Went For It

I found errors in my post above, but it's too late to correct them. That's what I get for being in a hurry. Your customers will buy, not by this machine. And it has a larger basin, not basis.

    I Finally Went For It

The Sirena is not a bad machine. There are several threads devoted to the Sirena, most all of them are positive. If you have a customer that is wanting a water vac, maybe has seen a Rainbow demonstration, or is replacing an older Rainbow. The Sirena is a good alternative. In my case I have...

    Favorite Straight Suction Vacuum made?

I am in agreement with Tom Air-Way, and Filter Queen have great straight suction rug nozzles. Rexair (Rainbow) had an awesome straight suction nozzle, as did the Hoover Portable (suitcase model).

    Fantom Fury overheating very quickly

A clog would be my thought too. Other thought is that the Fantom was not well know for durability.

Upright Vacuums with Separate Hand Vacuum Attached??

We had a Hoover Concept where I worked that had a hand held vacuum attached. You took the cord off the big vacuum and put in on the little one to do the edge cleaning.

    Cleaning hardwood floors

Back in the day My mother only used Bruce Hard wood cleaner, and then Johnson paste wax on her floors. Followed by hand polishing to a perfect shine. Yes she got on her hands and knees and hand polished the hard wood floors. Later on she used the Kirby with Miracle head for buffing. Now...

What would Hyacinth Bouquet think of Dysons?

I have a suspicion that Sheridan would have a Henry or a James. Wink. Wink.😁

Classic Omega went from delights to dilemma.

Great find, I immediately thought brushes, like others directed you, when I read the OP. I am glad it was an easy fix. Also glad to see that the Heritage II Miracle Head is working for your machine. I have an Omega that I bought new, and have never had a motor issue.

Come on guys. This is not a forum for airing one's dirty carpets, nor to exhibit one's bad behaviors.

    No More Vacuum Collectors Convention

It has to be tiring. I can imagine it was terribly taxing and expensive to underwrite since you charged no fees to the participants. I am sure there will still be mini-meets to speak of that will keep updates during the year.
