Best commercial vacuum options for multiple floor types (with some sort of power head)

I believe someone on here recently bought a Hoover hushtone commercial vacuum. A couple people have mentioned they are nice cleaners and speak highly of them. You may want to check them out! https://www.hoovercommercial.com/hushtone/

Best commercial vacuum options for multiple floor types (with some sort of power head)

You say the Oreck is not performing well, but was badly neglected by the previous guy. Is it functionally not working? Does it need a new brush roller or belt? It should perform well on low pile area rugs and hard floors. Do you do above floor cleaning at the dealership or just floors with the...

    Went thrifting today....

Nice scores Steve! Now onto the fun of cleaning them up :)

Why am I fascinated with vacuum cleaners?

@completenutt Good points. Those are the reasons I mostly collect vacuums. What type of photography do you enjoy.. film?

    What really are stick vacuums?

@human I saw one of these quickbrooms the other day at the thrift store. I was tempted to buy it since it was $5 or so dollars, but I passed in favor of the electrolux epic. They seem convenient for quick pick ups and have a decent size bag on them too.

Kenmore Cleanmore with Rotating brush- Boston

Nice set. Though I imagine shipping would be high, unless you could pick up in person.

    Electrolux Epic

Thanks Mike. Its the nicest Epic I've come across at a thrift shop. Fun to find items that have been taken care of! Are these pretty much the same as the current Lux Guardian uprights, less the HEPA filter?

    Electrolux Epic

@gregvacs28 Haha. Nothing leaking out yet! You never know what people will get rid of!

    Electrolux Epic

@human No doubt it will outclean the wally world specials!

    Electrolux Epic

@rugsucker That's a good point! I meant the floor combo tool. I may still look for one to allow for easier cleaning under chairs and the like. Some folks might think the Electrolux looks pretty old fashioned compared to newer bagless models. I went to a different thrift store later that...

    Electrolux Epic

I needed another vacuum just as much as I needed another hole in the head! But this Electrolux Epic was too nice to pass up and the price was right! It was there hiding among some bagless vacuums and had the lowest price of any of the vacuums at the thrift store. It even had all of the...

    Kenmore Spraymate attachment

Nice! Yeah I heard the spraymates are loud, but I'd still like to find one sometime for a reasonable price.

    Kenmore Spraymate attachment

Hi Greg. Do you have the spraymate attachment with yours? It looks like this:

Sounds like we probably have the same model Cleanmore :) Mine is also light gray and orange.

    Justify Miele Purchase

For primarily short pile office carpet, I don't think I could justify $400 for a Miele. Most anything with a motorized rotating brush should be sufficient. Of course, you want it to last as well. If it absolutely has to have attachments (and you don't mind buying a used machine), you might...

    The Olympians

Did that B8 shampooer come from ebay? I posted about one a while back that I saw on there.

    Justify Miele Purchase

What's the flooring type in your office where the new machine will be used (low pile carpet, hard surfaces primarily)?

    Kenmore Spraymate attachment

Hi. I am looking to buy a Kenmore Spraymate attachment for my Cleanmore home cleaning system. I see them occasionally pop up on ebay but they always seems to have a ridiculous price attached! Thanks!

    Are cordless vacuums overrated?

@completenutt This is a vacuum collector's forum after all and the OP's original question asked for cordless recommendations. Sure, there is always a bit of friendly competition on forums like this. But, I find it helpful to hear what others have to say about specific machines, they are often...

    Are cordless vacuums overrated?

@vacuumdevil I agree. Cordless machines are not quite there yet to be called a true replacement for corded machines, but they will probably be there soon. I love the convenience of the Oreck Pod for quick pick ups around the house and it excells at removing cat hair from the bedspread with...
