Good price for a Kirby Classic Omega and a Classic 3?

I'm considering selling my my Kirby Omega and the Classic 3, (probably locally since I don't want to ship something this big) and was wondering what would be a good price to ask? They both run nicely, although the Omega doesn't have any attachments except the rug nozzle (Maybe have the hose)...

What is the quietest vacuum cleaner of all time, and what is the noisiest? "Discuss."

My Filter Queens and my Rainbow are pretty quiet, and as far as noisy, any cheap plastic vac like the Bissels,, and any other big box store vac.

Kirby Comvac 1300 $9.99 thrift store suprise...

Vac Whisperer, I know it's not made by Royal, I was asking if the nozzle was attached like the Royals were, (with screws as opposed to a latch) and from the other comments, it appears to be. How many other commercial vacs did/does Kirby make?

What model is this 20's Eureka?

Says it's for "upgraded users only". seriously they block too much stuff for the "regular" users. Most other forums have the messaging system available to ALL users. Email me at [email protected] that email is so full of spam, I really don't care who knows it. Let me know on here, so I know to...

What model is this 20's Eureka?

Ok, see no way to send a PM, so I'd be interested nonetheless. You wouldn't happen to also have the "spring" that holds the handle up too, would you? It's a metal strip with a loop in the end that is on the back of the fan housing, and it locks the handle in the upright position.

What model is this 20's Eureka?

ok, so it's either a 10 or 9, I'm leaning towards a 9, because the 10 has the wheels on the machine itself, whereas the 9 (like mine) has the wheels on the nozzle. And at around 90+ years old, it's one of my oldest vacs, right there with the Hoover Duster! I'd like to see a vac from a big box...

What model is this 20's Eureka?

I brought this old beast hiome the other day, and it was in a bad way. You would plug it in, turn it on, and it would make a horrid grinding/squealing noise and shoot sparks out the back of the motor! Well, After I got it home, looked it over, and started work on it, I was determined to bring...

    Electrolux 1205 questions

There was a site that had FREE manuals for some vacs on it, if I can find it again, I'll post a link. (I'd pay a few $ for a printed manual, but not for a digital one I can get for free elsewhere)

    A really sad Kirby 508

no, rotten most likely. Now if I could only get that damn fan off! The shaft is stuck, and I'll likely have to break the fan apart to get it off. (already broke a blade of it, so it's not good anymore) This will likely be a parts vac for a future vac in need of main motor parts, as the motor...

    A really sad Kirby 508

Update, some cleaning done. It still works! Although I broke an impeller blade! Doubt I'll easily find another metal one for a good price. http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae297/telxonmaster1/DSCF0065_zps2a0942a5.jpg

    A really sad Kirby 508

I was over at a friend's house when I saw this sad sight in their carport Since the photo size on here is ridiculously low, I'll post a link at the bottom. She told me that this old Kirby had been sitting out there for several years, and no one wanted it. I told her I'd take it, and hopefully I...

Ok, that makes sense, although the brush I have is white on the brush part with blue "wings". I'm tempted to get that set.
