Jack does make a very good point... Going bagless is a green way to go!!! That is one thing that is nice about having a bagless machine. No bags to throw out and its like starting out with a fresh bag every time you dump it (which most people dump it after every use). Clayton :)

I can see the practical use... when you have lots of animals and go through lots of bags. Then it would make sense. Although it would be VERY high maintence to keep clean and properly running, I think if this was the case it could out-perform the bag method. Clayton :)

Nathaniel... I have a dealer by me that is the same way. That's why I stopped going there LMAO!!! :D But anyways, Riccars are good. I myself just like it for a daily-driver. I wouldn't just live off of a Riccar. Everyone has their preference. Try one!!! Clayton :)

Dan... is 110% right!!! I use my G4 on the berber and it bounces like a jack-rabbit!!! I like to use the Kirby espically on berber because it's difficult to clean. I also end up taking it in ever year or so to get it tuned-uped from all the bouncing and works WONDERFUL afterwards. Clayton :)

Ryan... Are you talking about the plastic strap that holds the emptor and bag together? If so, just take like a screw driver or something with a flat end and wedge it under the strap and pull towards you. I haven't broke any doing it that way YET. LOL Good Luck!!! Clayton :)
