    Sunbeam Touch N Go

Guy! I have one of those too. In blue. Mine does not have a bag and i'm wondering what it looks like? Is it possible to snap a picture of it? To ward off any Petes that may appear at your doorstep, leave a big cake, any flavor, and that should keep him happy ...for awhile! ;-) Marty

    Hoover Convertible help!

Greg What i learned this year at the Hoover clinic was that the speed switch was moved around. I know when we talked the other day you said there was no switch. Check to the other side of the converter track. But it is gorgeous isn't it? Marty

    Constellation Mod. 867 A 1977

Bag Tommy, Do you not have Hoover Constellation bags or did you just want improved filtration? Are bags not available where you are? I love your vacuum and i espeially like the combo carpet/floor brush that is with your vacuum. I wish we had that attachment here in the US. Great find!!! Marty

    Is this a good vacuum?

How about a Sanitaire? Try a Sanitaire upright. They are fairly reasonable price wise and it would only be used in your house. Most houskeepers are familiar with them as most hotels etc. use them. Then she can use her crappy vacuum in her other homes. Thats my suggestion. Marty

    The Eureka!!

Speaking of comebacks.... Koblenz had two models of vacuums a few years ago in the Princess and Ironsides metal bodies. Koblenz must have obtained the molds ( or is it casts ) from Eureka!

    The Eureka!!

What I have done... in the past on the Princess and Ironsides Eureka canisters is to put felt around the hose opening on the inside of the vacuum so that a seal is formed from the bag collar holder to the inside of the front of the hood. The terrycloth bonnet over the motor as Louis ( Hi Louis...

    Reconditioned Electrolux E

Front/Rear I like how they polished the front bag cover instead of painting it hammertone blue. I wonder what a Lux of this generation would look like all polished chrome with light blue logo? The rear cord halo is a Metropolitan halo. There was a Metropolitan vacuum on ebay recently with the...
