Finally, after a whole year of waiting impatiently!

It's a great looking cleaner! Reggie, does this vacuum also have the two motors? One direct air and one clean air? I also like the combo tool ala the Lux combo tool. I really like the Riccar canisters too. Marty

    New Hoover Constellation

hey Ross! It's good to see that you got a Constellation! a must for any vacuum collection! Especially for all your tile! The Connie did come with a floor brush that is larger than the one you have. Although I think both brushes do a good job! I wonder if the cats will like it? Marty

Anyone ever see one of these?

Miracle Mate Fred! I have one too. My PN is the older version however. It looks like a wessel werk? And the hose is exactly like a Tri Star. I found it at a thrift store for a drastically LOW sales price so I grabbed it. The bag system is exactly like the Tri Star/Compact and what i really like...

    Retro-style, Princess-like, Eureka-esque

David There is a vacuum store here in town that originally started out selling Koblenz products. Among them, the princess style suction only cleaner and the bigger Ironside style canister with a power nozzle. Every couple of months the guy at the store changes the brand he sells. I think he...

    Eureka upright; Multi filter bag?

Bag Pete, that sure does look like an aftermarket bag. That model Eureka had a gold square top bag. I think i have an extra some where. I will have to look for it if you are interested. Marty

So Is This Vacuum Anything Interesting?

belt the belt used on this vacuum is a Hoover belt for the Elite as Jeff suggests! It is Hoover belt 38528-040-F6. Robert, try this belt for your Kenmore and see if it works.

So Is This Vacuum Anything Interesting?

Brushrolls The brushroll on your Kenmore Robert looks to me like a Kirby brushroll. When i flipped both vacuums over to compare brushrolls, lo and behold, the Kenmore does have a flat belt!

So Is This Vacuum Anything Interesting?

Okay here are those pix I put the old Kenmore that I have next to the Hoover 150 because they resemble each other. The white cord on the Kenmore is actually a Kenmore cord so I'm keeping it on.

So Is This Vacuum Anything Interesting?

Robert For $3.00 I would have definately picked it up! That brush roll looks just like a Kirby! The whole vacuum in general looks like a Hoover. I'm wondering if thats not the original brush roll. You know, one of the draw backs of having your collection 30 miles away is that you can't just go...

Well, here's the beastie I'm getting off vintagehoover..

Ian I always wondered how these worked. As far as the dirt path goes, they seem to be the same as the US Lux uprights. How does the hose attach? At the top or at the bottom back? Or is that a dial back there? I've always liked the looks of these vacuums. Very Euro if you pardon the expression...

    Kirby Model C Bags

Material Kyle, What material are you using for the bag? I wouldn't even begin to know what to start with! I have repaired a rip on a hold Hoover bag simply by sewing a straight seam across the top of the bag. The bag now has two top seams but it doesn't look too bad. I did replace a zipper on...

    Canister Vs. Upright

Ross How long ago did you live in Palm Springs? We had a Kirby 562 growing up. My parents didn't even have carpeting when they bought it. I always joke that that was one good saleman. Anyway, it always had the hose on and attachment box handy. We did eventually use the carpet nozzle when we got...

    A New Toy

Floor brush The new Miele floor brush that is shown above is excellent! It swivels and angles. I have a thrift store Flamenco2 but as I see the new Mieles at Desert Vacuum, it makes me want a brand new one. And i love the blue colors the best!
