    Montgomery Ward Commercial Vacuums

I've never done that before. But it would be hit or miss.

    Montgomery Ward Commercial Vacuums

I tried looking for a picture of how a Sanitaire 698 looked, but I could not find a picture.

    Montgomery Ward Commercial Vacuums

So the SP8000 did not have a headlight, but the SP8005 did. That's cool to know. Too bad Montgomery Ward did not make any other commercial vacuums except those two. And those are hard to find, since so many of us collectors want those models.

    Montgomery Ward Commercial Vacuums

So did the SP8000 look like this? Did it also have a headlight? I noticed the SP8005 has a headlight.

    Montgomery Ward Commercial Vacuums

We are all familiar with Montgomery Ward Vacuums and how awesome they are. Personally, I love Montgomery Ward Signature Vacuums made by Eureka. But what about Signature Commercial Vacuums? I know there is the SP8000 and SP8005. I know the SP8005 has wide track. Does the SP8000 look the same but...

Unboxing 2006 Sanitaire SC886E-2 Vacuum Cleaner and testing it out video

That hood makes yours looks older. Sanitaires do an excellent job in cleaning.

Video of my Montgomery Ward Vacuum Model SP-824A

That is an awesome commercial! I would be cool to have a Eureka Vanguard, but I don't have anymore space for vacuums.

Unboxing 2006 Sanitaire SC886E-2 Vacuum Cleaner and testing it out video

There was nothing in the motor. It was just a staple I happened to pick up and it got stuck in the brush area.

Sanitaire SC887B from 2000 (This is not my Vacuum Cleaner) Video

My parents and the maid use this vacuum cleaner. I have used it a few times, but it is not mine nor is it part of my collection. We purchased this vacuum from a carpet store in 2001. This is a 2000 Sanitaire SC887B with the old metal motor. The brush does need to be replaced and it's not in...

Yea, I kind of figured late 1960s too.

My NOS Royal Prince 501 Broke :( The vacuum ate the belt

Well I played with it more and more, and it is just the belt and the brush that made it sound like that. The vacuum is still fine. It still has the strong suction.

My NOS Royal Prince 501 Broke :( The vacuum ate the belt

Well the good news is, I got it fixed. But the motor sounds kind of weird. It does not sound smooth like it used to. The guy told me that next time it happens to not turn it back on. I made the mistake of turning it back on.

My NOS Royal Prince 501 Broke :( The vacuum ate the belt

It made a screaming noise too! I'm glad it's fixable, because it has powerful suction.

My NOS Royal Prince 501 Broke :( The vacuum ate the belt

So I was vacuuming my bathroom mats, and I have not used the 501 in a while. As I was vacuuming and it was lifting up the mats, the fan made a loud noise and a smell came out. I turned it back on and it did not turn on at first, and then it made the loud noise again. I then realized that the...

    Sanitaire Instructions SC899 year made?

That is cool! Also, do those 1980s Sanitaires also have 7 amp motors? I have a Eureka Commercial Vacuum from 1974 with a 3.5 amp motor. Were 3.5 amps still used in the 1980s?

    Sanitaire Instructions SC899 year made?

I was surfing the net and I came across this instruction guide. I am really curious, could this Sanitaire instruction guide be from the 70s or 80s? I know Sanitaire revised many of them. This is from a Sanitaire SC899.

Similarities and Differences between Sanitaire Models SC886 and SC679

You can probably find an SC889 cheap online if you really look. So that is cool how the SC679 has the blender motor!

Similarities and Differences between Sanitaire Models SC886 and SC679

I'm just really curious as to why the sound on the new 2015 Sanitaires is very high pitched. It also seems like the post 2010 motors were made to be replaced when they broke. So all in all, the SC886 wins and beats the SC679. I would say the SC886 and SC899 are probably the best in the market...
