    My Kirby's

Nice Collection... I have a few of those myself including but not limited to that nice Electrolux Olympia in background. Great machine, well built. I have my Dual Sanitronic 50 in the works of re polishing and soon to come when I get time and parts, a Dual Sanitronic 80 I will keep in green...

    Kirby Sentria G10D

Newer G10D Sentria bag assembly. I'm sure this post is long done but here's a pic of the later run Sentria G10D bag assembly. Features 1 piece mini compact EmpTor, snap on fill tube in a slightly larger diameter and most noticeable change is back to the straight line zipper making it much...

Value of Kirby Sanitronic in the box

Kirby Sanitronic 562 / VII / D50 boxing Hi! I have what I believe is a complete boxed Kirby Sanitronic VII & D50. However, the motor on 1 was already removed sitting in another box w/ the 2 rollers. The 2nd had basic vacuum cleaner removed & set up w/ all its accessories still in the big box...

    Kirby's With Disposable Bags

Bag Conversion, Measurements... I found this 2nd method to be just as easy to get a disposable filter bag inside a Heritage 1-HD and back to my 516 and maybe others as well. Again< I can't claim performance yet as I haven't ran test but they do fit. This pic shows the same Heritage 1-HD Sani...

    Kirby's With Disposable Bags

Micron Magic Cloth bag Conversions... This was the 1st I did and the most easiest using all Kirby parts. It's a Heritage 1-HD with pulled plastic Mini EmpTor of a Legend II with 1-HD bag & Micron magic Bags inside w/ a G3 - G10 twist Lock fill tube top end but you can get universal cloth Hepa...

    Kirby's With Disposable Bags

Bag change... I did a bag & fill tube change on my Heritage 1-HD. The Emptor already has a lip (rim) inside w/ slots to allow to screw in the plastic fill tube adapter, screw on each end is all you need. It is oval but certain hoses will fit and even the 1s that were little bigger I used a...

Kirby Classic Omega w/ Dual Sanitronic 50 Safety Switch?

Dual Sanitronic 50 Here's my example of aligning the same attachment from 562 on D50. You can mount it but tab will go right between both speed switches. But I don't think you couldn't safely or physically mount this on the Omega because of that raised center area between the two switches.

Kirby Classic Omega w/ Dual Sanitronic 50 Safety Switch?

Sanitronic VII I'm puzzled then. If the hose in pic above is universal from 515 on it doesn't have the center placed tab for the Sanitronic 518 & 562 I have. Another thing I noticed from pix above is if the hose did have this center tab (562 Sanitronic VII) then it wouldn't fit or close down...

I need to know this, What are the dimensions of a Kirby Handi-Butler belt? ( models after 511)

RE: Oreck belts... Oreck XL Vacuum Belts Part# 0300-604 (Genuine Oreck Brand) @ David; I found this available to order. Is this similar to what you used, I imagine there's more then 1 model or part #. I also used a slightly stretched worn belt off a rug renovator for the Mark II. Little snug...

    Handi-Butler Belt?

RE: Handi Butler Bets What's a good substitute belt for each the Mark II / III & Heritage versions? I found the used belt of my Heritage butler runs ok in the Heritage but if I moved the belt to the Mark II w/ my 518 or early Sanitronic it is slipping under load. Did these various models use...

    Kirby Handy Butler Belt

Drive Belts @ twocvbloke; I'm reading this post 2 years later so the link you posted on belts is no longer available. Any help on where to find any specs on correct diameter to buy aftermarket to retro fit? I have only 1 last good working belt on my Heritage 1-HD. Are the belts different from...

    A Handi Question...

RE: Edit to my above post I wanted to correct my post above on the Handi Butler interchange parts. The cable I shared between units from old to new was the Mark IV. The Mark II unit of my 518 does not have the rear port for newer cable (bayonet mount) and the cable has to be tightened down with...

    A Handi Question...

Heritage 1-HD Handi Butler This was cool to find I have a rare find. I actually go tit for a low price for the cable being damaged , but complete in original box looks cool in my shop w/ matching Heritage 1 boxes and accessories. :) To add; yes, the drive cable from as far back to my Mark III...

    kirby heritage handi-butler

1981 Kirby Heritage - Handi Butler Great news. It appears that all4 of my Handi Butler kits are pretty much compatible except for the actual power take off unit. They each fit one another but the safety switches for each are in different places, for example the Heritage has a single safety tab...

Kirby D 50 San Handy Butler/ What color was orig electric cord?

Safety Switch OK. So is the Tradition different on its own? I have a Handi Butler I wanna use on my D50 from the Tradition. It appears to only have a tab on bottom edge but not out to side like the Heritage. It also doesn't look as if it lines up with the D50 tab location. Slightly off center...

    kirby heritage handi-butler

I'm interested! I'm hainterested if still available. I have this kit but the hose hand grip area got smashed in moving. What do you want for it? At anyone else who has experience with these; I have the Handi butler for each my 516 of 1956 & my Sanitronic D50 of 1965 as well as a dark blue...

Will I kirby mini emptor fit on a Sanitronic?

Sani-Emtor modification to accept Generation Series bags I would like to do this as well. I upgraded my Heritage to the Legend II smoked plastic Mini-Emtor w/ new hose top of Sentria so I use Hepa filter cloth bags. I am next going to change the newer fill tube to that of the Centria II w/ F...
