Today, I took delivery of my third SEBO machine, to complement my X4 Extra and my K3 Vulcano, I now have a Felix Premium Rosso. Like the K3, I ordered it from Freenet Electrical and it was delivered next day, all for the price of £217, which I thought was extremely competitive. SO far I have...

How cute - the meeces must have thought the yellow colour of the machine was a big piece of cheese! Needless to say, it didn't smell very fresh. I used to keep mice, rats, guinea pigs and gerbils and know how bad rodent pee smells!

What would be the problem with letting people on VL know about the function of this pedal? Why only those who are approved to belong to this select, closed, Facebook group?

Its a pity you couldn't direct us to that vac shop nowadays to buy a Turbopower 2 brushroll, or an early Purepower one, but I bet its long gone now. The parts that are left are what no one wants, and the parts that people want are all gone. I wish they had made more TP2 brushrolls, as there are...

I'm not bothered sebo_fan. I don't care how many franchises it has, if the prices are cheaper I will buy from Freenet. They sell what I want, and at a price I want to pay, which Argos don't, and nor do John Lewis.

But why would you as the retailer direct the customer to the competitor who sold the premium product for a cheaper price? For instance, If I went to Argos to buy a cleaner, would they really be directing me to Freenet to buy a Miele vacuum? I suppose it works because the customer is being...

Nice explanation Benny - it was something I found hard to understand, how the likes of Freenet Electrical could be selling a Miele cleaner up to £40 odd cheaper than Argos in some instances, and selling SEBO cleaners up to £50 cheaper than John Lewis. Freenet would not be selling these machines...

I agree with sebo_fan on this one. Russell Hobbs is just a brand name now owned by a holding company and they just churn out cheap quality Chinese made products.

As far as I'm concerned the prices Argos charge for their Miele cleaners are way higher than the likes of Freenet Electrical, and Argos stores don't actually physically stock most Mieles either, you have to order them online and wait for delivery. So if I have to order online and wait for...

They may well do - the smaller less profitable ones anyway. Most people would prefer the bigger ones with parking rather than the smaller ones with no parking and traffic wardens parading round in front of them.     Its only obvious that if Argos are going online only, they will be doing...
