    Hoover Junior!

Here from the same Estate Sale is a Hoover Junior. This machine is nearly mint, save for a few scratches on the base, near the belt port. I really think this color is stunning, and it makes me feel less bad that I got rid of the one that I had with the 707 print bag. Anyhow, enjoy these too!

    Hoover Elite 700 PICTURES!!!

Yep! I have to say that I really like this machine, and find it to be quiet and clean well too! This chocolate color screams class and to find it in this condition is pretty wild! The machine must of had a motor change out at some point, as the unit does not have the early "needle" bearing...

    Hoover Elite 700 PICTURES!!!

Hello All! A bit ago I posted a question about the Hoover Elite 700. I was surprized that the machine seemed so top shelf compared to other elites which I felt were cheap. You all asked for some pictures, and tonight as an anniversary present we got a camera so here they are!!! I got this...

Hoover Elite 700 Calling all Hoover (maybe Fred) experts!

I just picked up a really nice Hoover Elite 700. This machine is really upscale, with a dark chocolate brown appearance and nice quiet motor. The machine is 6.7 amps, and has a double bristle agitator with red bristles and a side zippered bag. The neat thing is instead of there being a silk...

Hoover 62 got its first coat of paint today.

hummm........ I don't want to bust your bubble, however I think you need alot more practice on a machine that is not worth as much. The key to painting is dry coats. 5 dry coats would be much better that one real thick runny coat that you won't recover from. How did you clean the surface...

    Concept One hose versions

Those hoses...... The top hose belongs to a fuller featured Elite cleaner (hence the stretch hose) The bottom one belongs to a Hoover Power Max as Hershel stated above. The closest a Concept came to attachments was the bottom agitator port as Hoover1 displays ot a Concept II that had the hand...

Hoover Model 60 restoration assistance needed!

UPDATE! Well so far so good on the resto track. I have used aircraft stripper to remove the old damaged paint. Came off very nicely. I then sanded the whole machine gently removing scratches and roughing up the surface. I purchased wrinkle paint from the auto store. It only comes in black...

Hoover Model 60 restoration assistance needed!

I see it. See that has what looks to be a tight napped wrinkle finish in a dark chocolate brown. This machine was a little lighter and had no wrinkle. The wrinkle came from the pits in the paint from sand blasting. There were areas that were sanded for imprfections that had no texture. I...

Hoover Model 60 restoration assistance needed!

Hello All! As you may or may not know I rescued a Hoover Model 60 "Special." The machine was in deplorable condition and I rescued it based only on it's rarity. I am in the process of restoration and need anyone with a 60 to check the one that they have out and tell me about the orginial...
