    i have idea i'd like to find a way to make reproduction type hoses like they do the old cloth cords- my idea would be to take new vinyl hose and cover with braided type cover. the repro cloth cords are just modern wires covered with a cloth sleeve

    where did you get it? the bulb? and the vac shop might be lucky and have white bumper guard otherwise all I can find is black or clear

    looks like a spacer antique models had cardboard ones like that at the bottom of the handle where it connected to the joint so it would fit tight. looks like that maybe what this is

    GE #69 I had a GE #69 and an AV-1. when you say "agitator" do you mean brush strip or revolving brush? and agitator is a revolving belt driven brush. mine didn't have a brush either but I think I have seen them in illustrated ads. maybe the brush was extra?
