    Apex A-3 Restoration

Beautifully done! My friend has the exact machine. Interesting note about finding these. Sadly I've never seen antique vacuums here in vegas. They just don't seem to exist out here

    Happy Birthday to the Hoover

I feel bad I don't have any recent pictures of it after I cleaned it up. The cord is now white again and no marks on hood or base like the picture shows

    Happy Birthday to the Hoover

Love my convertibles I've had through the years. So many have come and go and they all are great. My 66 is an absolute unit and is pretty much unused and I intend to keep it looking this good.

Yea. I'm fully disassembling the vacuum as I need to redo the bearings inside so will make it easiest to polish at least

    Sanitronic win

Best I can do by hand so far. Just part of the emptor. My hands get awfully sore when doing this. Will take ages to do the whole machine

    Sanitronic win

This is going to take a lot of work. Been trying different methods. I really need my bench grinder up and running with a buffing wheel.

    Free? Hoover 700/750

I think it's paint loss with rust instead of wood. Have had a few coffee cans like that

    Sanitronic win

Well it finally arrived. About a basketball sized wad of dirt in the bag. Emptor packed full all the way to the fan. But it's all there and all very original Will be working on it this weekend mostly

Thank you for sharing this news to us, Morgan. I haven't seen Andy's name in a long while and it brought back memories s from years back. So sad to see him go too soon

Beautiful work as always, Kyle. How did you clean up the base? Is that paint loss?
