    Kirby D-80 Fan..

    I've sucked uP a few dimes, but nothing too major. I don't think it should break it; after all it's made of metal. It would maybe put a few dings in it. I'm not saying you should go and vacuum up coins and other metal objects, and I wouldn't let that lady anywhere near a treasure like a D80...

    Bagged or Bagless ?

    BAGGED! Suction is easily maintained, and no clogged filters. Plus, when you empty a bag less,the dust goes everywhere unless you're outside. And I find Bagless vacuums often leak.

    The Sanitaire restore begins tomorrow...

    VERY VERY NICE!  Its not too often you see those Sanitronic-styly nozzled Heretages. For $10, even thogh a broken fan blade, was a steal!

    Rigid ones came somewhat later, the smooth ones were on anything up to about the 510.

    The first one is a replacement, because, like Sean said, you can tell by how far it goes down. And the ribbed handle was used al the way up to the D50, which was the last irby to have the "Stick" type handle.
