    My new petrol strimmer

When I first saw the topic I thought it was some kind of gas-saving device... Then I saw the pics and realized its what, across the pond, we call weedwhackers. Congrats! They're pretty fun to use, just for trim jobs.

    How To Make Money FAST!!!

I save up my pop cans for a year and take them to a recycling plant. Every year around July they have an "extra 10 cents a pound" coupon. I can get a good $60 from one pickup load. One of my friends melted a bunch of pennies (pre 1987, th ones that are pure copper)with a blowtorch into a solid...

    Kirby Logo History

The logo stayed generally the same from the 500 series to the classic series. Ten when the Generations came out it got quite simplistic. (Oh the gripes I have about that logo.) I have to say, their '70's through '80s logo was by far the best.

    Our collections...

I have around 30, give or take. I really can't have any more, having that many scums around really bugs my household...but at least they let me have and keep this hobby, which I'm grateful for.

I see you don't have any Kirby's for the animations. Suppose if I took a high-res picture of my D50, would you add it?

    Old Rexair on "American Restoration"

I was watching a rerun of American Restoration, and they had a man being in an old Rexair to be restored. He said it was used by the army, and only about eight remained in the world. Anyone for anymore info on this?

    Turquoise Fabulousness

Turquoise has got to be my favorite out of all the bright colors that were popular in the 1950's. Eccellent picture.

The dark purple looks neat. Silver is my second choice. I like the "Other cool stuff" personally, for the name.

How long has Oreck been around?

The only Oreck I own is a 2600...not the worst vacuum I've ever seen, but not real great.

How long has Oreck been around?

So I was wondering about...how long exactly has Oreck been around? What was their first model? What about some more of their early vacuums? And pics would be AWESOME. Thanks!

    1940s & 50s Lewyts

I've always loved Lewyts, especially the "trash can" models. My grandmother has a 44 that hasn't been used in at least ten years....works like a charm, but missing the original hose.
