    1982 Hoover PortaPower S1015

The usual story, discovered her on the Land of Ebay, low starting bid, so I placed a bid on but thought it would go for far too much, but, to my surprise, I won her for £10.50 ($13.46) Complete with tools, box and manual. It's in pretty good condition (usage/motor wise) regarding its age, very...

    1991 Electrolux Contour Z1410

Replacement cord hook in place, doesn't bother me that it isn't matching. Fan chamber removed, unfortunately there's nothing much you can do with Lux motors as they riveted the fans together. And finally, motor back in place.

    1991 Electrolux Contour Z1410

Daft idea... Going to keep it fairly short and sweet. Chassis and everything was fully stripped down etc. These are the reason these early Contour's chassis failed. They're only thin little pieces of plastic which wear down thus not being able to support the machine's weight causing the...

    1991 Electrolux Contour Z1410

So, as per usual, I picked this oldie from the Land Of Ebay for a bargain of £3.40 ($4.35) Managed to save on postage as it wasn't far from me at all. But.. I had to take the risk of the possibility of it not running (or shot bearings) as the seller stated as there was no plug on it anymore...

I recently bought a lux contour z1410, but it's missing its upper cord hook, crevice tool, extension wand, and 2 in 1 upholstery tool and dusting brush (not the butterfly style one!) If anyone has the items I'm looking for please either PM on here, or email me ~ [email protected] Any...

    Plastic Base Convertible Worn Housing?

One method that might work is to strengthen the cracks with super glue, then try and "reform/remold" it by using plaster of Paris .

    Portapower motor help needed!

So, is this portapower motor serviceable? If so, how? I can't figure it out for the life of me! Also, I typically know how to remove suppressors, but, with the wires all being the same color, is it the same as just connecting the wires to each other as one would normally do? Ty for any help!

    1982* Hoover Turbolite

Thank you. Relooking at the serial number and dating as you would a, i.e, Turbopower, it could be July 1989. I had considered ordering Type A bags as I've heard others say that they do work better than our H4 bags.
