    What's in the vac Shops

and it is not easy to make one look like it is worth any mon You are exactly right Robert. It is not worth my time to make people who can't afford anything pay what its worth to buy a rebuilt machine. Its already $54 to service/change filters/ belt on a Bissell that only costs $48. We...

Best deep cleaner? Kirby or sanitaire?

With a pic like that Sean, who could get their feathers even remotely ruffled :-)

Best deep cleaner? Kirby or sanitaire?

I am going to withdraw from this pi$$ing match until you can come up with some photos or websites to back up what you are saying. Until then, you are just an anonymous guy who loves to talk about himself working out of his house repairing vacuums.

Best deep cleaner? Kirby or sanitaire?

I own my store- check it out on manta.com, we even have a (crappy) website that is in the process of being overhauled, vacuums-etc.com. You will notice that it is owned by parent company, Buddy Nash Holdings, LLC. I am the owner of the holdings company that owns the store. We employ 6 people...

Best deep cleaner? Kirby or sanitaire?

gsheen "I and a number of other members on this forum probibly know more about vacuum, vortex, suction, air flow, and the entire set up of a vacuum than you will ever know in your entire life. Keep your comments to your self" Ahh, I missed your blatant attack towards me...before I correct...

Best deep cleaner? Kirby or sanitaire?

I am well aware that there are vac store owners on here- myself included. There are also a lot of very non-expert people who are highly opinionated on here. They hold about as much value as a box of rocks. I am very glad that in your busy engineering world and prototype testing world you find...

Best deep cleaner? Kirby or sanitaire?

Try going to a vacuum shop. You can speak to guys who know what they are talking about, and like Tolivac said- you can take it home and try it. You will find that on here, there are really no "experts" in the field- just enthusiasts that are highly obsessed or opinionated about one or a few...

    Oreck Magnesium

Calling you out...Josh was correct because you stated: Come on down and visit sometime :-) Born in Charlotte, store is in Columbia. My accent is more of a Charlestonian accent, though.

    Oreck Magnesium

It would be a lot more well received by more people if they used someone who was actually able to sufficiently demo the machine. I think they were aiming for "cutesy" and cutesy does not sell vacuums nowadays.

    Oreck Magnesium

She sounds just as country and redneck as most Oreck dealers around here. Bravo to Kelsey for continuing to cheapen the brand with your horrible presentation!!! I'm hiring a monkey to do our youtube videos!!!

    What's in the vac Shops

My biggest issue with "refurbished" high-end vacuums is we already carry new high end vacuums. It is a bad use of resources to spend time selling a used Kirby or Electrolux for $500-800 when I can sell them a new Riccar Immaculate or Radiance for upwards of $1300 and make more money selling the...

Does anyone want a Perfect, Epic, or Electrolux Guardian?

Due to a huge influx of Electrolux trade-ins, we are about to throw some machines on CL and eBay and I wanted to see if anyone on here wanted them first. Machines: Epic 6500sr (new style wands and PN) Electrolux Guardian Encore (New Hose) Perfect "Electrolux" Canister (like new, upstairs...

    What's in the vac Shops

I'm not going to junk up my floor with $30-75 used vacuums. A lot of the nicer vacuum stores do not want to sell other peoples' filth. 95% of customers do not want to buy someone's old vacuum cleaner when they come into a specialty store. I'm not sure why you think most people would want to...

    What's in the vac Shops

almost no used machines.... We cut out selling used machines earlier this year. Just no room in our store for used machines to junk it up unless they are vintages on display. As for Dysons, we get so many in on trade that we normally trash them if they require any sort of service or part...

The most unfit for purpose machine you have come across?

I've never wasted the money to buy a dust buster- those are pure filth. I was just correcting your statement that ALL handvacs are a waste.... Agreed that dustbusters are junk.

The most unfit for purpose machine you have come across?

I mean virtually all hand vacs. Though, cordless ones are ev I definitely disagree with that one. A good bit of our impulse sales are made up of hand vacs. If you use them for their purpose, then they are actually very good. Upholstery, stairs, boats, and cars are some of the uses for these...
