My New Aerus Vacuums - Part 2

The FreshEra is built with a different hood, and a different color bag. There are no "Lux specifications" that it is built to other than colors. We have repaired several, and all of the parts are inter-changable. The canister is outsourced as well. The only thing truly "Aerus" is the hose...

My New Aerus Vacuums - Part 2

The FreshEra is a Hoover Signature upright. Available for around $149-$199 at any internet store. I'm good friends with someone within Aerus, and know that Aerus was selling the FreshEra to dealers for significantly more than the Hoover Signature cost me (I own two stores in SC). It is very...

    DFW Riccar 8900 for $50

Awesome buy! We sell those commercially all of the time and they hold up to even the most abusive user. $50 is a great buy. Take Tom's advice and get the HEPA bags.

    Dyson's New Commercial

Chris, your posts have been inflammatory of late, I'm no Ouch Bobby, I guess my tolerance for stupidity is a little lower than others. I'll just refrain from contributing to anymore posts and let you guys misinform each other while the other vacuum clubs, dealer forums, and facebook groups...

    Dyson's New Commercial

Wasn't trying to be mean...it was a fairly hard commercial for some to get. There are some very smart people on this forum, but there are also a lot of people that I really wonder if there's much between the ears. Vacu-finder always has a great post and great information to share! I was just...

    Dyson's New Commercial

You have to remember people, a lot of people on this forum are either not intelligent enough to note quality advertising or have mental issues that do not allow them to understand the concepts behind advertising. It was a great ad. You remembered the ad, as well as a lot of other people- it...

Anybody seen one of these before?

Most everyone has the right idea. It is simply two standard sanitaires with an odd ball hood and backing screwed (not bolted) onto two machines. The housings are connected at the base and it is just like pushing two machines at the same time.

    Rug Doctor?

Cheaply made- I'd rather use the Bissell Pro Heat because, believe it or not, it is better constructed. Stick with a Hoover or a Royal for an extractor. With those two machines you have two fat girls and you have to choose one to take to prom....

    Dumpster Royal Canister

Send me an email, I'm a Royal dealer and will see who has parts for you. I seriously doubt you will find any online as most of those parts are NLA. We have a good many sitting around in the shop that are NOS.

I want to know what was the first Electrolux model 2100 color?

That is a Peanut motor. It is loud and whiny and not the best motor ever. The tube extends the bag housing so it can be used in certain models with the shorter housing. We normally use a nice two stage motor that we drill out to put in those machines. Much better noise level and better...

I want to know what was the first Electrolux model 2100 color?

In 16 years of doing this, I have never seen one of these sandstone and jade models. I would also love to see a picture of it. The Diamond J started in 1987, not 1984. In 1984, the Sliverado was still in full force until they changed it in 1985 to the Silverado Deluxe which had a PN5 rather...

I am about to place a dealer order for refurbs...

Good morning all, I am about to place an order for refurbished Hoovers from the factory. I like to order fairly large quantities, and since its Christmas, consider this my gift to you. Let me know if any of you want any of the following. The refurbs are essentially new...there's not much of...

I want to know what was the first Electrolux model 2100 color?

Nope definitely not the Ultralux. Its going to be the tail end of the Silverado Deluxe or the beginnings of the Diamond J. I'm thinking the LE came out slightly before the 2100 series.

I want to know what was the first Electrolux model 2100 color?

Oyster and dark blue. And I'm thinking the Diamond J..... Putting my flame suit on in case I'm wrong!!

    Electrolux Areus Guardian question

Hey Philip, there are two circuit boards in the Guardian. I would have a qualified vacuum repairman look at it- my guess is there's something wrong with one or both of the boards. Either way, I doubt it would be harmful to ride the wave and use the vacuum as normal till the board completely...

How many of us sell vacuums?

Depending on your dealership size, you get them free from the manufacturer. They do not ever give them out to individuals, you must be a dealer. They are called POS (point of sale) items designed to influence buyers.

How many of us sell vacuums?

Candles... We sell candles, tons of scents, humidifiers, heaters, and air purifiers. The store's 40 year old name is Vacuums Etc. So anytime someone says, "Oh I didn't know yall sold...." We always say that's what the "etc." means. Our other product lines work really well with our current...
