    New Deebot 901 robot coming

Found a DeeBot 901 mapping robot vac for 179 shipped new with the 1 year warranty. its supposed to be here about the 28th with free shipping. I've loved the cheap Eufy 11+ dumb vac for almost a year but wished it could be able to learn the rooms and all that so the 901 should be able to do that...

    Shark vacuum repair

Duoclean X2 impressions Well Les, I only paid 140 something shipped and everything looked new when it got here, plus so far no problems. It's not as strong as a corded vac but it can pick up a surprising amount of crap till the bin gets full or too many large pieces plug it up somewhere. Having...

Flea markets, thrift stores and garage sales

I don't go to thrift stores hardly ever and I try to avoid garage sales unless it's obvious they have stuff I like or can use. I'm trying to avoid my hording tendency but I keep saved searches for things I want on Craigslist and eBay. The Royals I have bought all came from Craigslist. I found a...

Chinese have come up in the world Roidmi X20

Seems like a nice enough little cordless stick vac but it should have removable batteries so you can use it longer. Of course if it's dirt cheap then it's probably fine as is because it works pretty well and decent quality plastics. I love my Shark Duoclean x2 cordless with 2 batteries but they...

    Tristar CS melted motor

The c6 hybrid or whatever it is my mom gave me the motor rattled and screamed so bad it sounded like something internal had let loose. I was able to buy a new motor for around 66 shipped and it works like new again. If you can get the mount and the motor is actually good your probably all set...

    Shark vacuum repair

The duoclean x2 cordless stick vac I got Refurbished from Woot with the attachments, charger, and two batteries has been great so far and has plenty of power for what it is and batteries actually last along time. Can't say how serviceable it will be but hoses have held up OK so far. It will pick...

Is it bad to use a antique vacuum as a evey day cleaner?

Well if they work like the Kirbys and Royals I'm familiar with they should do fine. My Royal uprights do a awesome job deep cleaning and grooming my low pile carpet. Small throw rugs might be a problem as it would try to suck them up but being old machines they might not have the suction power...

My first Robot Vacuum- how was yours?

If all you have is hard floors that will probably do a good enough job to get the dust bunnies and small grit off the floor. I got the Eufy 11+ because we have low pile carpet and it has a brush roll that works pretty good on our carpet. My first one was similar to yours and did great on the...

Some of our new LG appliances

I'll have to check your thread as I've been fighting with my Kenmore top load that likes to eat the shaft bearings. I have a thread about it there several times too.

My first Robot Vacuum- how was yours?

I got a n78, then a eufy 11+ with a actual floor brush that can handle low pile carpet. The first one worked ok on the vynil floors, not much on the carpet but better than nothing. The only 11+ actually does pretty well wandering around the area randomly. The carpet stays pretty clean now with...

    New Shark Uplight Stick Vac

The cordless duoclean I have does great and I use it to clean up after my parrot and the places my robot vacuum misses. If you have a small places and messy kids and pets it would be a nice machine for cheap. I'm really surprised the big chunks of leftover bird treats mine gobbles up. I do have...

    Shark UV 440-25

The refurbished ionflex x2 duoclean cordless I picked up is awesome. It runs a long time per battery, picks up everything, and grooms the carpet nicely plus does great on my vynil floors as well. I paid way less than retail for it so hopefully it'll hold up a while but as long as I get 3 years...

    Canned Goods Storage

We bought a cheap pantry type cabinet with 2 doors in a light wood vanier cheap and put it against the wall in the dining room. It matches the look of the kitchen cabinets and I wish we could find another or something similar. We have cans and gadgets everywhere on top and in the cabinets but at...

    Got another Royal today

Well the thing is a bit beat up and needed a belt badly but with a new belt it works. It is so LOUD I think I'll wear ear plugs like when I mow my yard, I like being able to hear. It also needs the rubber o ring for where the bag plugs onto the motor but it has so much suction it kept gluing...

    Got another Royal today

Yes, as long as all your machines are the standard motor and not the drop in version which takes a 12 volt bulb that otherwise is physically the same. Many sewing machines take that 120 volt light and possibly the kirbys but I don't have one to check. I might try one of the LED versions...

    Got another Royal today

Got a couple of headlights Sister went by Stark by her work a few days ago and the repair tech sold her the 120 volt one for 2 bucks. She knew I was looking for a couple and also ordered one from Amazon. Almost 5 bucks for exactly the same bulb. I haven't got the 12 volt one yet because at...

Why I think canisters aren't popular in United States anymore

I have just about every style of vacuum made right now. I have 2 Royal canisters, 2 Royal uprights, a Compact C9, a Eufy 11+ basic robot, and a Shark Ionx2 duo clean cordless that has 2 batteries and runs quite a while on one. For super deep carpet cleaning the Royal uprights are best, for...

    Got another Royal today

Yeah, I noticed those on it and figured they were to access the brushes, clever design and makes sense for easy service. New one doesn't have them so like you said, just drop in a new motor if it ever dies. Probably cheaper to build and possibly less steps if it breaks though I'd bet it makes it...

    Got another Royal today

One of each Well the 4000 is 12, actually more like close to 10, and the 5700 is 120, more like 118 ac, so one of each. I guess the 5700 is only 7 amps so not the later drop in motor. It also looks like the 4000 is missing the rubber o-ring that goes into the collar at the base of the bag so I...

    Got another Royal today

Well both of mine are the higher amp versions so probably 120 volt. However I do have a really nice Fluke multi meter so I can double check the voltage to make sure, then hunt for the proper bulb now that you gave me both part numbers.
