odd....id read or heard that there was an improvment in performance...but was used to see dirt that was left behind from other vacs, as a tool for testing i could see it worth while. use some no clog dacron as a pre-filter ...ez to clean. as a tool it makes sense...saves on kirby bags

altho a beautiful machine....quality to match. this oversite or slack Q.Cntl standards on the inside covers of a high end vac from a highend maker ...isnt acceptable. top dollar was paid....at least paint the entire inside of cover...even if its flat color. im just surprised that this passed QC...

other than it not being metal...would it not perform as well as a vg2....

very nice perform the same as the sanitaires imo....as they are the same pretty much. got a pic of the brushroll/btm of vac. great vac..does a great job as an everyday sevice vac...

i just have gotten into conv. so they are kinda new to me. id say if it has no port/hook up for a hose...then no ive never heard of a plate w/hose adapter before. sorry i cant be of more help...but that is a beautiful vac and thanks for the pics...we like pics.

beautiful machines....to all that own them. you can see the solid build and quality.would love to have some at the shop..but our area wouldnt embrace it.. nice vid....love the way it sounds like a jet....so what the agressiveness like on the roller...what are the motor specs for those .

so do some stores have a choice to carry them or does the online only thing affect all stores.

will last many years, i get 10+yr old orecks in all the time for a tune-up/service at the shop.. yet to hear one of them say they dislike. if your expecting a kirby deep clean then you wont be happy...but if you want a very good dependable vac that does what its supposed to do then an oreck is...

GREAT TEST..i also love the vg2..quite a few here recmd the vg2 to me ...said was better by far...and now i see. seem to look as if more sand was pulled up with vg1..could be my eyes.as im not getting younger. you answered alot of questions for alot of people.thank you.

why is the metal exauhst offset? are the motors offset? whats the purpose for it.

wasnt sur...but i think its about one of their better if not best.the one we had at the shop lasted a couple yrs..it was a trad in then...so it was worn well when we got it ..up till the day it burnt up..we were hard on it for sur. so i hope you get all the use we were able to get.

wouldnt hurt..esp if they been on that long. the black and orange strips are outthere...a vac shop should carry those by the bag full...im a cash and carry guy, only order if i gotta or ebay if i def gotta have...most online parts dealers carry them...you may want to refine your search....try...

larger motor and fan in ddvl.. but thats a direct air design .. or am i wrong. cant remember. oreck smaller fan...4amps.direct air...but your vac isnt a bad vac imo if offered id take one...in black....but then again if its free...

i guess its hit or miss with the bbx stores...ive seen some come in at less than a year old and look good but run like crap or all is weak/loose..very problematic but d.devil is by far the worst....the worst ive ever seen that come from a bbx store. And iv seen some that look and run great at 5...

try your local vac shops...are they white/orange some vac shops will just pull them out of a roller...but really depends whos working i guess.
