I finally got the Gold 50th Anniversary Convertible cleaned up. -Cleaned the black gunk off of the cord and bumper -Replaced the hood (still have the original) -Put a white handle grip on -Put an outer bag from a 1076 on I still have to polish the base and handle with wax and repaint the brush...

Kirby 508, all original. Broken fan and needs bearings, no cord. Two wheels are busted but will come with two identical wheels from a 509. Make offer plus $30 for shipping. For those interested, more pics are available through email.

I'm also selling this Atlas, comes with everything pictured, runs and works well and the hose is decently airtight. The cord is a replacement.

Sure. Also selling a Hoover 28. The bag is a little faded, the brush roll is a little rusty and I can't get it out, and it needs a motor tune-up. But it is complete with all of the tools, box/caddy, hose, and some paperwork as well. Make offer.

It's a sticker that it came with from the factory when it was brand new with instructions on how to use the belt-lifter. Underneath it is a normal belt lifter like on any other D80. I'm going to leave it on. Alex

Seeing that makes me want to get the bearings replaced in mine. I'm going to have to do that soon. It ran nicely for a short period of time. I unpacked it and used it for maybe an hour to shampoo, went to turn it on and the bearings had gone bad. It has a brand new ball bearing brushroll in it too.

Very nice! I love my 86, it's a wonderful machine. IMO both the American and Canadian machines are great vacuums. I don't have much experience with American models, so I don't know how much of a difference there is in power, but the Canadian 80 series machines are definitely more maneuverable...

Oh, cool! Looking at your pics again mine is a little different. Mine doesn't have the yellow logo under the Compact logo. Instead it has an "xx year anniversary" decal on the side. The warranty card that came with it is dated 1966. Congrats on your find! Alex

What does the hassock look like? Is it off-white with a glittery gold floral pattern? I have one exactly like yours that I found at a thrift shop also, with the hassock as described above.
