I like the design, but I prefer the older models. I'm a stickler for old vacuums but that looks really nice in my opinion. I used to have one of the blue "eco" powerforce bagged, and I've been thinking about buying the current model before they stop carrying them.

I checked the fan and it looks ok to me. I'm still going to change the fan though. I can't get the motor casing off to check the motor though.

I used to be terrified of vacuums. Until I was about 5 or so I was deathly afraid of vacuums. Then I decided to finish vacuuming my living room when I was around 5 or 6 and that completely destroyed my phobia.
