    Royal 7600 Duke

Thanks Jeff, that helped alot. But HOW does it do it? Is there a senseing arm on the nozzle? If so does the nozzle "float" until locked by the pin thingy?

    Royal 7600 Duke

Again, I'm going to demonstrate my lack of understanding. Could someone please show how the "dial thingy" works on the front of Royals? I get that there is the black knob in the back for the height adj. but what does the thing in front do and how does it do it?

    EnviroCare Technologies HEPA bags

Mark, the only problem with the condition is that it gives me a shi**y outlook on life!

    EnviroCare Technologies HEPA bags

KirbyLover, just looked at it again. I must have had a serious case of cranial blockage of the blow hole. KirbyClassic, lord, I'm already freaking about my child. What is wrong with these and what should I use on an Ultimate G?

    EnviroCare Technologies HEPA bags

Well how embrassing for me. Thanks for the info. Those are good bags, yes?

    EnviroCare Technologies HEPA bags

My remanuf Kirby came with a box of these bags. They seem to work very well. However each one of them has a "flap" of vinyl rolled up right above the opening. It doesn't seem to be adhesive of any kind. It is almost the same dimentions as the card board mounting tag. What is it for? I thought it...

    Trading Kirbys like used cars?

Tolvac, so they will look at other brands (like my Oreck) on trade in?

    Is my Kirby unwell?

SPY, I'm a little confused by your last post. The motor seems to be running great I was refering to the "KIRBY BOOK" on how to set nozzle hight.

    Trading Kirbys like used cars?

I'm no where near to trading my used Ultimate G for a new Kirby but I wondered if you can "trade in" the old one to save some $$ on a new one. I'm going to make my first pilgramage to the closest Kirby store (30 miles plus) just to look around. Any words of wisdom?

    Is my Kirby unwell?

SPTYKS, I wondered about that. I try to follow the "lower till motor sound changes and then go one more click". But I wondered if I was over doing it. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Is my Kirby unwell?

Thanks Bud. I'm kinda scared to take it apart, but a man gotta do what a man gotta do. (he says with a dust cloth in his hand)

    Is my Kirby unwell?

My first Kirby, a "remanufactured" Ultimate G has won my heart and sole. Love that thing. But, the last two times I've used it it will sometimes get kinda "jerky" going forward. If I slow down my stroke it will stop the jerking (there's a joke in there somewhere). It doesn't seem to do it in...

    Kirby

Did no one go to the Kirby Gala? Surely, the new sucker is out by now?

    Kirby

I love my Kirby and would probably buy a newer one, but I just don't want a "talking head" in my house. I wish Kirby would let us buy direct.

    Two speed vacs, really?

I'm new to Kirby ownership, but have had them cross my path many times. My rebuilt Diamond G has opened new worlds of cleaning unknown to me before. I fully understand why a Kirby needs two speeds, using the high speed on rugs whould likely cause much damage as the suction litterly pulled the...

Has anyone sued Dyson for false advertising?

Having absolutely no proof (but that never stopped me) I believe Studebaker used that name on the horse drawn wagons they built a zillion years ago.

    Kirby Power Edger???

I use the tool as a dog vacuum. The big girl loves it, the little one gets grumpy when the incredable suction of the Kirby causes her to get stuck in the hose. But more importantly, a Kirby Lawn Mower!! Count me in.
