Again, I'm going to demonstrate my lack of understanding. Could someone please show how the "dial thingy" works on the front of Royals? I get that there is the black knob in the back for the height adj. but what does the thing in front do and how does it do it?

My remanuf Kirby came with a box of these bags. They seem to work very well. However each one of them has a "flap" of vinyl rolled up right above the opening. It doesn't seem to be adhesive of any kind. It is almost the same dimentions as the card board mounting tag. What is it for? I thought it...

SPY, I'm a little confused by your last post. The motor seems to be running great I was refering to the "KIRBY BOOK" on how to set nozzle hight.

I'm no where near to trading my used Ultimate G for a new Kirby but I wondered if you can "trade in" the old one to save some $$ on a new one. I'm going to make my first pilgramage to the closest Kirby store (30 miles plus) just to look around. Any words of wisdom?

My first Kirby, a "remanufactured" Ultimate G has won my heart and sole. Love that thing. But, the last two times I've used it it will sometimes get kinda "jerky" going forward. If I slow down my stroke it will stop the jerking (there's a joke in there somewhere). It doesn't seem to do it in...

I use the tool as a dog vacuum. The big girl loves it, the little one gets grumpy when the incredable suction of the Kirby causes her to get stuck in the hose. But more importantly, a Kirby Lawn Mower!! Count me in.
