    Ebay Treasure?....

Oh, wtf... Someone should tell this moron, these only cost a few dollars from practically any vac parts site. They are still made, and even rubber coated, thanks to perfect. Smh.

    Really?

That isn't worth anywhere near $200, or even $100. You can find them all over eBay, or thrift stores, etc, any day of the week. They aren't in any way rare. As for the bag, they are easily turned.

    Sears AD from 1986

Rest of the ad? I was wondering if you could post the rest of the ad, or other pages, etc. If you have them. On another note, my grandmother bought "B" at the top of the page, in '86 when she could no longer push her classic III, because of a bad shoulder. She also had a green Sears best, but...

    Opinions on Oreck XL's

Date It's positively not from 2012. These were available even back in the mid nineties, and probably earlier, but yours is from '05 it seems.

FORMER KIRBY SALESMAN VACUUM AND PARTS FOUND

Kirby parts value Please don't take this the wrong way, or think I'm being rude, because I'm not. I assume you would rather be told the truth. The items in your pictures are still plentiful, and usually in better condition. The tan cloth bag isn't worth fooling with, and is likely molded...

    Woven Hose Finally Restored

Aftermarket... That hose is indeed an aftermarket hose. They came in that exact color, back in the 80's-maybe early 90's, I can't remember. You'll notice the handle is also completely different from a genuine Electrolux handle. I know you said they bought the salesmans demo machine, but an...

    Is it worth $50?

Is it worth $50? Um.... Yeah! It's worth a lot more than that, as long as it s decently clean, and runs well. They are easy to take apart and clean, if the fans are dirty, etc. I'm sure if you buy it, and change your mind, you would have no trouble selling it. For example, I would gladly buy it.

    New Water Infomercial Vacuum

Wet dry vacuums..... Water filtration vacuums and wet/dry vacuums aren't the same thing. Not even similar. If that's what you meant by wet/dry vacs I mean. Water filtration vacs are unique in regard to how they work, and there motors in general. The ones that use a separator anyway.

    New Water Infomercial Vacuum

The difference would be quality, warranty, features, options, durability, and likely service and parts. Rainbow parts and service are at every turn, and if you don't live in a town with a rainbow office, parts for every model are plentiful online. This machine doesn't look too bad though...

    Mystery Floor Tool?...

This is the floor/carpet tool that came with the original big Green clean machine. That's what this one came from, because it's the same Grey as the other attachments that came with it. They eventually changed it to a combo type nozzle that has the two flip levers to raise or lower the brush.

It's Wonderful to have Friends like Owen

Eye catchers I definitely saw several machines that I would love to find. The beige Kenmore with the woodgrain top, and rust colored bumper is on the top of my with list. The Grey Kenmore under the chair to the left of the aforementioned one. The beautiful Hoover dimension. The slate green...

    Recent finds at annual sale

Kenmore canister I'd like to know about the beige Kenmore canister. More pics if possible, does it include any tools, tool tray, powermate, etc. Also any other square bodied kenmores that anyone might have available. Thanks.

    "Blue" Kirby Classic III?

The rug nozzle on my heritage 84 (original) fits perfectly on my classic III. I've tried it many times just playing around. Yes, the safety switch is different, but the area of the nozzle casting, where it connects to the attaching bar, it has the little square piece that depresses the safety...

    1998 Kirby G5.....rebuild??

As far as kirbys go, on the very rare occasion that I use one, I like my heritage 84, and classic III. I like the self propelled models ok, but when they are turned off, they are much heavier and more awkward to maneuver around than the pre-g series.

    1998 Kirby G5.....rebuild??

Rebuild price from kirby is $350, plus shipping, for any model from a non original owner.

    hoover

Well, that could be one of a hundred different models. More info would be helpful. Model number, etc.

    Electrolux LX

Well, one things for sure, the hose is from the early 90's. It's the color scheme of the Grand marquis, legacy, and ultralux. What's left of the dusting brush, also went to a much newer model. The white cord doesn't go with it either. As for being a demo model, it must have been well used over...

New 2005 Rainbow E2 For Sale

11 year old vacuum. Rainbows don't depreciate like others do. These models sell for this price and more all day long. It's difficult to find a nice clean e2 2 speed, whether it be gold, or silver/blue, for less than that price. Evan knows as well as anyone what they are worth.
